Early Doccia (circa 1750) had stenciled blue flowers on both maiolica and porcelain. I suspect that those pieces or similarly decorated mid-18th century ceramics were the inspiration for this piece. Elegant sterling silver footed basket with flaring, reticulated sides and a hoop handle. The swirling pattern of the piercing echoes the basket's scalloped rim. Enoch Wood historical Staffordshire dark blue transfer plate, Moulin sur la Marne a Charenton, from the French series. Circa 1825. This glass demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. The saucer is 4” in diameter and the is cup 1 ½” high. The cobalt blue glass is hand blown and has a leaded content so that it rings. It is decorated with hand painted raised enamel in pastel colors on a gilded ground.

A set of six hand painted porcelain plates with floral bouquets in the well and a gold band around the edge. The mark of KPM with the initials and the scepter in underglaze blue was used from 1837 to 1844. The size would indicate that they are dessert plates, though they are deeper than most. They are 7 inches diameter (18 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep.
