A wonderful set of six Victorian silverplate napkin rings. The outsides are decorated with two cherubs grasping baroque reserves framed with swirls of acanthus leaves, pendant bellflowers and other ornate decorative devices. The insides are brightly gilt. It is very unusual to find a complete matching set of Victorian napkin rings.

A beautiful, hand enameled cup-and-saucer set, made by either Moser or Monot & Stumpf (of France). The under-plate is 4 3/8 inches (11 cm) wide, while, the cup is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide and 1 3/4 inches (4,5 cm) tall. They are both in fine condition. There is slight fluorescence when they are subjected to long-wavelength UV light - so, they were probably made around 1900.

A well decorated, monogrammed and marked hard paste porcelain plate. The outside border is decorated with a narrow peach ground and elaborate gilding with green dots and red lines. It includes a monogram dominated by the letter "R." The center of the plate is decorated with a hand painted white morning glory.

A pair of beautiful, hand-painted glass vases made by Bohemian master, Moser. The amber-colored, ribbed glass vases have blue-colored applied scroll-feet and lava-drippings from the top rims. This interesting little ceramic figure is purportedly from the Majapahit period (1293-1500)of Eastern Java. Possibly a religious figure, it is barefoot and has tribal head-dress and flowing robes. There does appear to be a light colored glaze underneath the surface dirt which I have not attempted to remove or clean. The statue is just under 20 cm in height and weighs 444 grams. Offered is this beautiful antique French clock, with clock-works by S. Marti and statue made by L & F Moreau. The clock is 21 inches (53,5 cm) tall. A wonderful example of a pastel painting on sandpaper. The scene shows a man in 18th century garb, holding a fawn that his daughter is feeding. They stand on a dirt path lined with a wooden fence. Fabulous chunky 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring hallmarked London, 1919. Unusual knot ring with three gold diamond-shaped squares superimposed along the knot band and table-cut diamonds embedded securely within the incised stars on each square. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is almost as beautiful as the front. The ring is a US size 8 and can be sized.

This crystal goblet was produced in Bohemia by an unknown company. We believe it was made sometime in the early 20th century. The goblet is 9 3/4 inches high and the diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The decoration is beautifully hand enameled, depicting brightly colored parrots on both sides of the glass. There are also flowers and gilded leaves. CONDITION: There is a bit of wear to the gilded stems of the flowers.

Porcelain beaker decorated in transfer and polychrome enamels with scenes from Boston. The scenes include Faneuil Hall, Bunker Hill Monument, and Old State House. Black-glazed English small teapot with floral decoration in raised enamels, Victorian, c 1850-70. The glaze is named after Jackfield, a town in Shropshire where pottery with a jet black shiny glaze first was produced in the 18th century. No mark except for a brown S (painters mark?) to base. A large drawn trumpet bowl leads to a double series opaque twist (dsot) stem comprised of a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a central gauze. The bowl is engraved with a rising sun, a well-known masonic symbol. In all, this item has a wonderful and strong presence to it. Thick firing foot with a rough snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, other flaws, or restoration. The height is 4 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

A rare French silver (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin from the reign of Louis XVI. This classic example features a classic design of angled “godrons” (grooves) accented with raised “perles” (pearls). Elegant reticulated sterling silver swing-handle basket with a cobalt blue glass liner. The basket is pierced in an intricate pattern that allows the deep blue glass to shine through. A rare pair of apple green glazed candle holders designed by William Howson Taylor and made at the Ruskin Pottery works in Smethwick, near Birmingham, West Midlands, UK.
