This interesting little ceramic figure is purportedly from the Majapahit period (1293-1500)of Eastern Java. Possibly a religious figure, it is barefoot and has tribal head-dress and flowing robes. A large drawn trumpet bowl leads to a double series opaque twist (dsot) stem comprised of a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a central gauze. The bowl is engraved with a rising sun, a well-known masonic symbol. In all, this item has a wonderful and strong presence to it. Thick firing foot with a rough snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, other flaws, or restoration. The height is 4 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

English Edwardian crystal match strike with sterling silver mount. Globular with fine ribbing. Central well has flat and plain sterling silver collar. Crystal clear. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Grinsell & Sons), assay stamp (Birmingham), and indistinct date letter. Very good condition with minor wear.

This miniature " bullseye with diamond point oil lamp is 5 1/2" from base to collar. The chimney adds another 4 3/4" to the height. There is a copper heat protector under the paper shade. I do believe this lamp is 100% original.
