A tall Georgian ale glass with an elongated ogee bowl raised on a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem containing a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a loose lace twist.
The glass stands 8 1/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4 inches and a wonderful wide stance foot diameter of 2 7/8 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.

A charming tinsel (foil) painting depicting a variety of flowers in an urn placed on a stone slab. Dating from the last half of the 19th century, the painted frame, worth a bit of money on its own, is likely earlier, with a wood backboard The painting is in fine condition, with only some very small minor speckles in the black background. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The porcelain is fine, white, hard paste. There is a hand painted scene on the front of the cup with colorful exotic birds. The saucer has little insects scattered about. There is lacy gold trim around the rims of each piece.

This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect.
