A very pretty early 20th century French silver tastevin in the style typical of Dijon in the Burgundy region of France. This style retains the usual convex base surrounded by a wreath of “perles”, but the gadrooning (“godrons”) along the side have been replaced with a decoration of very finely worked grape leaves and clusters of fruit. The handle, also in typical Burgundian style, represents two snakes with the heads of ducks grasping the forbidden apple between their beaks...

Probably the nicest cut glass pitcher I've every seen! This pitcher, which is unbelievable heavy, has a wide rim that is Gorham sterling with beautiful flowers on it. It is engraved "Presented to Benjamin L. Stowe, Vice President of Eureka Fire Hose Company by his fellow officers and employees of the Company upon his 50th birthday anniversary, February 18, 1898...

A pair of porcelain plates with a maroon and gilt border and complex bouquet of flowers in the center. Hand painted. On the back in a printed scroll, "ED. HONORE" and address, Boulevard Poissoniere Number 6. The mark is the same as the mark on the china that the company provided for the White House in 1846/47 to President Polk. 8 and 3/4 inches (22 cm) diameter.

Pair of ironstone plates with chinoiserie decoration of flowering plants with a flower border and thin blue printed scallop border. Back marked with an elaborate blue printed mark of a crown over what looks like a log with a garland of flowers and a ribbon with the words, "TONQUIN CHINA." The pattern number '500' is written in orange on both plates. The factory is unidentified...

A striking antique English porcelain coffee cup. Made at the Worcester factory during the Dr. Wall, or First Period, it is painted with the Pu Tai pattern in beautiful, bright enamels. It shows Pu-Tai, also known as the Laughing Buddha, seated, with two attendants. The cup has a slightly everted rim, a handle of the grooved loop type, and the interior border is gilded in addition to the iron red enamel.

The cup is 2 3/8" tall, with a top diameter of 2 1/8"...

A blown moulded Art Nouveau green Loetz glass vase with 'Cherry Sprig' pewter mounts, probably designed by Frederich Adler, and made by Orion Pewter, Nuremberg, Germany circa 1905. A similar vase is illustrated in "20th Century Pewter" by Paul Carter Robinson (2012) ISBN 978 1 85149 6150. Condition: there are some very small surface nicks to the glass and slight bumps to the pewter; no cracks, losses or repairs. 10cm (4 inches) high; 11cm (4.3inches) across.

An elegant and rare Newcastle light baluster (NLB) antique English trick wine glass, with a round funnel bowl set on a tall stem with a shoulder annular knop above a knop, above a large, teared medial knop, finishing with a ball basal knop. Conical foot with rough snapped pontil.

The bowl is Dutch engraved with a band of leaves and flowerheads, with a sprig below. The "trick" to this glass is that it is a dribble glass, with holes in the center of three of the flowerheads...

Round funnel bowl with the stem having a rare configuration of a teared and cushioned inverted baluster knop above a multi-teared inverted baluster knop, and a basal knop. An elaborate large German wine goblet, the round funnel bowl cut and etched with two winged figures clasping hands over an orb. The inscription on the reverse of the glass reads, in Old German: "unser freundschaft sol bestehn bis wir mit der welt vergehn", which translates to "our friendship shall remain until we leave this world". The beautifully cut stem is of the teared inverted baluster type...

This handled American coin silver cup was made by William K. Vanderslice in San Francisco, CA, circa 1870, consisting of a simple tapered cylindrical form with rope banding around rim and base. Exquisite cut glass flower centre bowl in the Glenwood pattern by J. D. Burgen, 1899. This bowl was made in three sizes, and this 12 inch one is the largest of the three. It is in perfect original condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is referenced and pictured in the Encyclopedia of American Cut and Engraved Glass by Michael Pearson, Volume 1, page 58.

Heavy brass letter opener with a fully repoussed handle. There is a face on both sides at the end of the handle. It is made to look like a barbed dagger or sword. It measures approximately 9 inches long and at its widest, it measures 1.25 inches. The overall weight is 152.5g. It most likely dates to the late Victorian era; it is unmarked and in very good condition.

Unmarked, but likely Minton, soft paste porcelain covered sauce tureen "Feuille de choux" pattern with a rose finial. These knock-offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid-19th century (c.1850)onward and Minton made many very good ones. With the lid it is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall, 7 1/4 inches (18.4 cm) long, and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.
