Set of three remarkably preserved antique stylized swans by Fratelli Toso. I have seen these attributed to Salviati however, on a recent trip to Venice I showed these to an antique dealer specializing in antique Venetian Glass and he showed me some documentation with images that confirms these to indeed be Fratelli Toso, made in 1890. This dealer had a few of these in his display and he said that they are hard to find without chips to the beaks and tails...

This porcelain basket was produced in Tettau, Bavaria by Royal Bayreuth in the 1890s. It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches wide. The exterior of the basket has a molded tapestry texture. It is decorated with a transfer design of roses in various colors. The handle and base are reticulated. A “pearl-like” finish is used in these areas. R.S. A very good jasper ground glass paperweight by St. Louis. The sole decoration is the pink and white jasper cushion which completely fills the dome. The glass is heavy and nicely clear. The polished concave bottom has relatively wide basal ring.

This covered jar was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden before 1890. It has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 3/4 inches high. The jar is ornately painted in Meissen or Vienna style. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches across the handles, 6 1/2 inches wide and is 2 3/4 inches deep. It features entwined handles and delicate reticulation. The interior of the basket is beautifully hand painted with colorful flowers. All of the reticulation is outlined in gold inside and out. It is a sweet and fragile reminder of by-gone eras.
