A hard to find purple transferware pitcher with central vignettes of farm life and genre scenes. The top and inside of pitcher have foliate decoration. The single piece handle is attached. Condition is very good with minor crazing and possible exterior crack for which we have shown 2 pictures. Very moderate age discoloration most noticeably on handle.

Victorian Modern sterling silver and glass decanter. Made by Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor in Birmingham in 1884. Clear glass cylinder on round and spread base. Flat girdle with applied chevron and stud. Rim collar same with triangular spout. Cover hinged with canted sides and ball finial. Mortis and tenon-style bracket handle. Very good design. Fully marked. Fine condition.

10 English Crescent & Son China Service Plates, Ca. 1891, 10 1/4" diameter, raised Gold drapes of leafy vines design on Cobalt Blue wide rim, marked on the bottom "England Crescent & Son China","26879", impressed mark "7" above "25",, please check the photographs. The condition is good, some used scratch marks on gold but most of raised gold is in good condition, no chips, no damages.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden Studio in the 1880s. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 5/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The porcelain is highly translucent. The cup features a delicate butterfly handle and pedestal base. Both pieces are beautifully hand painted with swags of tiny, delicate flowers. There are fine gilded accents and lacy gold trim. The butterfly is accented with gold...

Ernst Wahliss Bisque Jardiniere or Planter, Bearing the Mark "Royal Vienna" with a Crown and "Wahliss". Dimensions; 9" wide x 5" deep x 12" high, with a 7.5" x 3.5" planter space in the rear. Circa 1900 and in excellent condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Ernst Teichert Dresden around 1884. The mark is blue under glaze. The plate has a diameter of 9 3/4 inches. There is a 1 3/4 inch reticulated border around the plate. The center has a hand painted scene of lovers in a garden. It is surrounded by a cobalt blue border. Elaborate gilding frames the painted scene. The pierced border has panels with flowers alternating with scrolled decorations. It is all outlined with gold...

This porcelain box was produced in Germany by Richard Klemm Dresden in the late 19th century. It measures 3 3/4 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches high. The lid is elaborately decorated with a hand painted scene of lovers in a landscape. Fancy gilding frames the scene. The apple green ground is overlaid with a fine mesh of raised gold. The bottom half of the box is white with ornate gilded filigree around it. Condition: There is slight wear to the gold mesh on the lid...

19th C Meissen "Love Captive" porcelain hand painted figurine of Cupid putting a heart into a cage. In excellent condition, it is marked with cross swords in underglaze on the base. Measures about 4.5" high, 2.5" wide, 2.5" deep. Circa 1880. We also have "Love Crowned", see last photo.

This porcelain charger was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. It is 15” in diameter and 2” deep. It is molded in high relief with rococo decoration and framing the five reserves. Nice porcelain footed mug with a transfer print entitled "Sands & Railway Station Ramsgate--A Present From Ramsgate". The scene shows the railway station in the background with bathers in the foreground. Queen Victoria lived in Ramsgate for a time before ascending the throne. After the railway came to the shore, Ramsgate became a very popular tourist destination. The rim is decorated with a gilt band.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by KPM or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the 1890s. The set is marked with the blue scepter underglaze and the red orb with cross overglaze indicating the porcelain and the painting took place at the factory. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup has a quatrefoil shape and the saucer has molded ridges that follow the contours of the cup. Antique Sterling SILVER Card Case 19th C This is a very attractive Sterling silver card case with elaborately decorated floral motif on both side. The case is hallmarked and according to my reading this item was manufactured by Whiting Manufacturing Company, New York, New York 1866-1926 a major manufacturer of full line of quality flatware and hallo ware that was absorbed into Gorham in 1926.
