A pair of “King’s pattern” heavy porcelain dinner plates with underglaze blue and overglaze red and gilt decoration. This pattern was an Imari pattern that acquired the “King” name. Both are marked with impressed, “DERBY” under a crown. Both also have red interlaced Ds below a crown. One has the number, “563” below the Ds and the other has a printed mark for the retailer, “John Morlock” of London. These plates are from between 1877 and 1890...

Unmarked, but likely Minton, soft paste porcelain covered sauce tureen "Feuille de choux" pattern with a rose finial. These knock-offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid-19th century (c.1850)onward and Minton made many very good ones. With the lid it is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall, 7 1/4 inches (18.4 cm) long, and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.

Condition: The lid has no damage and slight wear to the gilding on one edge...

A Well Known, Notable and Rare Gorham Sterling Silver Large Fish Set with Ivory Handles. Elaborately Pierced and with Silver Gilt on the Pierced Pattern and with Carved Ivory Handles. Dimensions of knife, 11.5" x 3", fork, 10" x 3". Pattern introduced in 1892 and made for a brief time. Excellent condition. Circa 1870, brown transferware platter, Staffordshire Nanking pattern, by E. Challinor. In very good condition, there is some crazing commensurate with age and some staining, most notably on the back. Measures about 18 inches long, 14" high, and 1.5" deep. Hanger included.

Absolutely beautiful silver plate tray with center crest and decoration, handles on each end and fabulous serpentine, reticulated edges. This tray is marked by the maker, but I couldn't find the mark. It is old and in excellent condition. It measures 29 1/2" long x 22" deep.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris decorator in the 1870s or earlier. It has a hand painted monogram “AJ” hand painted in gold. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The porcelain it thin and translucent. The cup has a hand painted scene that surrounds the entire surface. An 18th century couple, of noble birth, are holding hands and reading a letter. The painting is soft and dream-like...

Fine Larger Childs Plate, the centre printed with the name George, the finely moulded border decorated with bright Pratt type colours. The base impressed ROGERS. C1840. Diameter 7 3/16" (18.2 cm). Condition: excellent, there is some staining to the underside.

This handled American coin silver cup was made by William K. Vanderslice in San Francisco, CA, circa 1870, consisting of a simple tapered cylindrical form with rope banding around rim and base. Vanderslice was an early California silversmith, working in the mid 19th century. He became widely acclaimed for his fine silverwork. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup is melon ribbed and blown out. The saucer has a scalloped rim. The ground color is rich cobalt blue. An Importand and Historic Coin Silver Mug (Christening or Childs Mug) by noted Boston Silversmith Obadiah Rich (1809-1888, active 1830-1850). Marked pieces by Rich are Rare as much of his Output went to Leading Boston Retailers. The Mug is inscribed "Dec. 25, 1848 Emily P. Call from Abel Cushing Jr.". Cushing (1785-1866) was a Massachusetts lawyer and the author of "Historical letters on the first charter of Massachusetts government", published 1839...

Beautiful Italian 800 silver repousse sugar box. This sugar box with lid, was made in Milano, 19th Century. A finely chiselled foliage decor encompasses the entire sugar box. Marking located on the bottom.
Measurements: 6.69" (17 cm) height X 7.08" (18 cm) including handles X 4.33" (11 cm) diameter.

A large and rare antique, circa 1850, French casein tortoise shell casket with bronze ormolu framework featuring a working lock with key. The casein was applied over mahogany or rosewood creating a sturdy chest. Inside is the original silk lining perfectly intact. This chest is superbly crafted and very well preserved, there is just a little wear on the top and wear to the gold gilt on the bronze ormolu consistent with its age. An impressive piece, this rare beauty measures 9 1/2 wide, almost 7"...
