Ornate sterling silver meat serving fork featuring a heavily scrolled handle with matte-gilt, bright-cut tines. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Many late 19th century silver makers did not otherwise mark their wares.

Origin: America, circa 1890s. Condition: excellent, sharp detail, no monogram. Size: 7-1/2" long.

Elaborately handled server by Reed & Barton in the "Love Disarmed" pattern. It has the old hallmarks dating back to 1899. This piece is in excellent condition, the figure on the handle and all of the repousse work are very crisp. Originally an asparagus server, it can be used for so many things. It has lovely piercings on the flat portion, and it shows no wear. It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3.75" at its widest. It weighs 255 grams. It is not monogrammed.

Wonderful Art Nouveau style 19th century silk hand-embroidery of a golden hair maiden (a bride?) holding a bouquet of pink flowers, framed within a lacy tree arbor and standing atop a blanket of daisies. Lovely pastel colors in soft shades of pink, green, blue and yellow make this piece feminine and serene. Unusual handmade frame with glass, front and back cut in a stylized V shape. This Victorian serving piece is a small sterling silver ladle made by Whiting and perfect for pouring a fruit sauce over that special dessert. It has a lovely square shaped gilded bowl with a scalloped rim edge and shell ribbing and beaded handle, monogram ESC, maker's mark "W", a winged griffin, "Sterling, PatAppp For", measures 6 in; very good condition with age appropriate wear to gilt.

A fine mid-19th century French silver tastevin (wine taster), the base inset with an 1810 Italian silver coin from the reign of Emperor Napoleon I as King of Italy. The bottom edge of the bowl is decorated with curved, scalloped "godrons" which were intended to reflect light through white wine to judge clarity. This tastevin does not have the "cupules" ("ovoides") specifically intended to deepen the color of red wines. The sides are decorated with grapevines and clusters of fruit...

Beautifully designed large Art Nouveau pewter plate bathed in silver with a scene of a hunting dog camying its prey. The back of the plate contains a ring used for hanging. Seals of the manufacturer are located on the back.

An inscription in the center is to the Winslow Williams, for their 25th Anniversary (1883),from their employees. Gorham date mark for 1882. Dimensions; 10.75" in diameter x 3"high (3.75" foot diameter). Weight 18.4 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy Ladle in the "Kings I" pattern. Patented in 1876. Measurements 6" in length, bowl 2" x 2". Excellent condition, No monogram.

An especially attractive flint glass mold pressed goblet in the block and star pattern with ruby flashed top. Overall condition is very good although you can see some mild loss to the ruby stain. The glass probably dates to circa 1910. It was most likely made by Tarentum Glass.

This porcelain chocolate pot was produced in the US by Willets Belleek in the 1880s. This is a factory decorated piece. The pot measures 9 3/4” high and is 5 1/2” from handle to spout. The handle is shaped like a dragon that wraps around the pot. The body of the pot has a creamy ivory hue. It is hand painted with two colored gold. Some of it is shiny and some of it is matte finish. Ferns, leaves and blooms are painted with raised enamels you can feel...

A well decorated, monogrammed and marked hard paste porcelain plate. The outside border is decorated with a narrow peach ground and elaborate gilding with green dots and red lines. It includes a monogram dominated by the letter "R." The center of the plate is decorated with a hand painted white morning glory.
