Offered is this beautiful iridescent Favrile / Aurene type glass vase, made by Quezal around 1910. The signed vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the shoulders. Polished pontil. In good condition (couple of scratches - see last picture).

Very nice vintage South Jersey glass paperweight featuring a frit design of an ivy-covered blue cross against an opaque white ground. The foreground has a wave-like frit design. The opaque ground is most unusual in a South Jersey weight. The crown rises quite high into a pronounced cowlick more typical of New England weights. The bottom has a pontil mark and slight basal concavity, and there is an incised line around the periphery at the top edge of the opaque ground.

An elegant and rare set of nine sterling silver demitasse spoons in Whiting’s highly desirable 1898 “Pompadour” pattern. The bowls have lemony traces of the original matte gilding. The handles are ornately decorated and have never been monogrammed. The backs are marked with Whiting’s hallmark.

This set of 13 porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1905. The date cipher indicates this year. Two artists signed the plates, E. Clark and C. Harris. The plates measure 8 7/8” in diameter. The fine white bone china is molded, rounding out the center and giving it depth. The rims are contoured so that the plates are divided into 6 segments. Turn-of-the-century cut-glass perfume bottle with sterling silver stopper. Globular with short and faceted neck and shoulder, and everted rim. Star, fern, and diaper ornament. Globular stopper with dense repousse-style flowers and ferns on stippled ground. Marked “Sterling” with stamp for James R. Armiger Co., a Baltimore maker that began working under that name in 1896. Very good condition with deep patina.

Here is a Washington- and Masonic-themed spoon which is marked STERLING F.A. WHELAN. Both sides of the bowl, the hilt, and the tip are gold washed. It has a lot of Masonic symbolism incorporated into the design. The dates on the spoon handle (1732-1799) are the birth and death dates for George Washington, who was a Mason.
