Short neck with sterling silver collar and hinged ball cover with stylized flowers and scrolls in ogee frame, and bead-and-reel rim. Collar and cover interior gild washed. Fully marked 14515 (first produced in 1900) and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

Description: Wonderful Eastern European elaborately decorated repousse silver Dish, composed of two compartment, 2 emerald cut inset stones at each end, fitted with removable insert having loop handles. This set of 8 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by Rosenthal around 1900. They were produced in Rosenthal’s “Dresden Works”. The plates measure 8 ½ inches in diameter. They are intricately hand gilded with raised and beaded gilding and hand painted with vividly colored roses. The design has an art nouveau style. These plates are wonderful for display or use. An unusual SET OF FOUR Kiddush cups, each 3 1/2" high, and the tops 2" across. Each is marked .800 at base and also to the left of that is a tiny mark, difficult to photograph.
