Fabulous Georgian Pinchbeck muff chain with a hand clasp set with colored paste stones. Christopher Pinchbeck developed an alloy of copper and zinc in 1720 that had the look of real gold and did not tarnish. The jewelry made with this alloy survives today giving us the enjoyment of its beauty. A muff chain is a long chain worn around the neck fastened to ladies muffs. This chain measures 49" long by 1/4" wide.

"Tiffany Studios" Gilded Bronze Paper Clip, Art Deco period 1920, 2" x 2 1/4" wide, 1" high, marked "Tiffany Studios, New York, 358, 1805", no damages except some gilding is worn on the corners.

Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau glass flask with engraved silver overlay. Flat front and concave back; sides curved and bottom flat. Short neck in silver collar and hinged and cork-lined cover. Overlay in form of dense leafing scrollwork and flowers. Glass is clear. Silver marked “Solid Silver / Pat. Jan. 5-86”. Very good condition.

Decorated Meissen Porcelain made in Dresden, Germany. The cup and saucer both depict a man and woman in 18th century garments in a garden. Flowers and decorative gold scroll line the rim of the cup and border of the saucer. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height.

A beautiful polychrome Lowestoft creamer, of the Chelsea Ewer, or Dolphin Ewer, form, in a highly desirable small size. The body is molded and painted, in the style of the "Tulip Painter", with a variety of leaves and flowers in bright, vibrant colors.

Superb condition, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or paint loss. The length, from spout tip to the end of the handle, is 3 3/4", the height is 3", and the width is 2".

A fine example of early American folk art. Generally classed as fraktur type, paintings such as these were done by children, and were often, as this one was, painted on a page from a ledger or notebook. This particular piece is a charming depiction of an eagle, and is housed in a period frame with good surface.

The painting is in very good condition, with good color, and no tears or creases...

A powder blue ground cup with elaborate gilding and two reserved oval panels on opposite sides with a spray of European flowers. Unusual for Chinese Export porcelain the two panels are recess molded. Other examples of this period exist with molding in the body, this ground and elaborate gilding. The inspiration is European, probably German, perhaps Meissen. The cup is 2 inches (5 cm) tall and 3 ½ inches (9 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver mirror. Made by Lebkuecher in Newark. Two bracket supports joined by concave and crisscrossing stretchers. Hinged swing oval frame inset with beveled glass. Dense and fluid engraved scrolls, leaves, and flowers on lined ground. Each support has shaped cartouche (vacant). Glass frame engraved with interlaced script monogram. A timeless addition to a lady’s vanity table. Fully marked and numbered 2473/15. Excellent condition with strong definition...

Classical coin silver christening mug. Made by Tifft & Whiting in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1850. Straight and tapering sides with beaded rims. Three names and 3 birthyears (1851, 1877, and 1908) engraved in leafing scrolled frame. Leaf-capped s-scroll handle. Maker’s stamp and phrase “Pure Silver Coin”. Good condition with attractive period wear and nicely sunk engraving.

A well proportioned baluster glass featuring a trumpet bowl raised on a drawn stem with a large annular medial knop. A virtually identical glass is classified in Bickerton's "Eighteenth Century English Drinking Glasses" as a heavy baluster. Conical folded foot with a rough snapped pontil.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration. The height is 6 1/2", with a bowl diameter of 2 5/8" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4". Ex collection of Tony Stout.

A beautiful floriform, Favrile glass vase in a bronze holder, made by Tiffany Studios, around 1900. Overall, it is 16 1/2 inches (42 cm) tall. The base is marked, 'TIFFANY STUDIOS / NEW YORK' along with the model number, '23819' (it also has the old 'TGDCO' mark, for 'Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company', which was used by them up until 1902)...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The diameter of the saucer is 3 ½ inches and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The set has a fluted shape with scalloped edges. The ground color is sky blue enamel. It is intricately hand gilded with raised and beaded gilding. The interior of the cup, well of the saucer and handle are coated in gold. Condition: The bottom of the cup has slight crazing in the glaze...

Set of three remarkably preserved antique stylized swans by Fratelli Toso. I have seen these attributed to Salviati however, on a recent trip to Venice I showed these to an antique dealer specializing in antique Venetian Glass and he showed me some documentation with images that confirms these to indeed be Fratelli Toso, made in 1890.
