Measuring only 5.5 inches x 6.5 inches framed, this darling little pair of 19th century, American Folk Art, hand-colored lithographs depict two different homesteads in Macon County, Illinois.

One litho appears to be the residence of a “R. Timmons” and the other of a “S. Macon”. The frames are a latter addition, likely circa 1930-40’s acquired by an individual interesting in preserving these colorful and historic pieces of Folk Art...

Antique 18th century Spanish cast bronze naval signal - saluting cannon Mortar (Thunder Mug) of a typical design with a handle.

A tapered two-stage barrel, with a reinforcing ring swelling towards the muzzle, with a pronounced, molded, flared muzzle. It rests on a prominent turned round (breech) base with a pan raised and a touch-hole (vent).

This type of mortar cannon, "Thunder Mug," was used on ships in the 17th and 18th centuries to salute and signal the port of their arrival...

Three inch long day-night earrings with a lovely rococo design that incorporates foliate and shell motifs set with Persian turquoise and enlivened by the two-color 15K gold. The earrings have a secure hook on the back of the drop part of the earring, not typically seen on Georgian day-night earrings. This enables enabling them to easily be separated and worn with just the tops (for day), or both top and bottom (at night). The mechanism attaching the two pieces can be viewed in the photos.

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1879. Hand painted birds are done by the artist John Hopewell. The date letter indicates this year. They are 8 ¼ “ tall, 3” wide and 4 ¾” across the handles. Asian styled handles and feet are an inspiration of the aesthetic movement. A raucous array of berries, butterflies, birds and flowers fill the space on all four sides of the vases...

A superb and beautifully engraved German glass wine goblet of friendship or marriage significance and extremely large size. The capacious pointed round funnel bowl is elaborately decorated with crowned hearts below clasped hands...

An underglaze blue hand painted ”Ronda” pattern soft paste porcelain plate with a deep molded rib border and barbed edge. Though unmarked the painted pattern and the distinctive molding are typical of Tournai. The diameter is 8 inches (20.32 cm).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some wear and a little associated discoloration.

An English wine glass with a waisted bucket bowl above a single series air twist stem containing twin spiral cables. Conical foot. The height is 6 3/8 inches, the bowl diameter is 2 3/8 inches, and the foot diameter is 2 1/2 inches.

Two Eau de Cologne scent bottles, flacons, with sterling silver lids, c 1880-1900. Of square shape, the upper parts faceted and the corners bevelled. Cut glass stopper and screw-on lid to one, the other lid not belonging. One lid with monogram engraving, the other with the traditional English design of a hand holding a dagger. The smaller bottle with a paper label saying something like "Another mist" in Russian - the name of a perfume? Height of both "3¼/ 8 cm without the lids...

An antique German silver mesh purse with pierced frame showing deers and roses. The frame marked with the crescent moon and crown, "800" and a maker's mark. This is an ornate American sterling silver baby food pusher made by Whiting Manufacturing Company in the "HYPERION" Pattern, circa 1888; the inside base of the front handle marked with the maker's mark and STERLING. the outside of the pusher having beautiful repousse, back of pusher monogrammed in Italics JPM; Measurements-handle 3 3/4 inches long, the blade measures 1 5/8 inches across. A beautiful art glass vase with an applied salamander and lava flow from the rim, made by Moser around 1885. The vase is decorated with typical art nouveau motif. Made on ribbed-glass blank, the vase has a polished pontil. The vase is approximately 10 inches (25,5 cm) tall and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide at its widest. Except for a small chip on one of the lava-contours and some roughness next to it, the vase is in fine condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser...

A late 19th century lorgnette, guilloché enamel and silver handle. The enamel decoration is of a rose flower and diminutive gold buds on a light blue background. The shell-shaped end of the handle conceals the spring mechanism that opens up the two brass roundels for the lenses. No hallmark to the enameled handle, but the work is most probably French.
