Panelled and diaper molded border picked out in blue and green, handpainted and signed "P. Vissier", and dated 1769. The plate has two labels, one from the Newman collection, and the other from the Harriet Carlton Goldweitz collection, considered one of the finest English pottery collections of the last 25 years. 9 5/8 inches in diameter, superb condition with deep, vibrant color, and no chips, cracks, or restoration.

A very fine 13-piece gilt silver coffee or tea service by Bruckmann & Soehne, one of Imperial Germany's leading silversmiths. Peter Bruckmann established the Deutscher Werkbund in 1907 to bring designs by the major German artists into the public realm. This service, strikingly decorated with classical figures, is a quintessential example. The slightly angular spade-shaped handles look forward to the Art Deco, while the subject matter itself depicts traditional Greek gods and goddesses...

A pair of oversize porcelain plates made and decorated in China around 1790 for export to the West. Brightly colored carmine flowers with touches of blue and yellow and green leaves cover most of the surface of the plates. The edges are glazed brown. 10 ¼ inch (26 cm) diameter.

Condition: one with a couple of very minor chips on the edge and a spider crack visible on the bottom, but not on the face...

I bet her kitchen smells like homemade bread and biscuits. This doll lets you know she is strong and capable and isn't afraid of work. I love that she has big hands formed as a fist with fingers and thumb. Her shoes are also big and sturdy also. The carving is bold and yet touching. She is a great example of the 1920-30's woman farmsteading, likely in Appalachian Mountains. She is 21" tall, carved from heavy hard wood and jointed with screws at the hips and shoulders. A fine pan-topped square bucket bowl glass engraved with a fruiting vine having polished grapes, raised on a stem containing a multi-spiral air twist. Conical foot with polished pontil. Condition is excellent with no flaws. The apparent cloudiness in the bowl in the first photo is not present in real life. The height of the glass is 5 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/2" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. The group of small porcelain items known as "toys" is composed of scent bottles, bonbonnieres, etuis, and seals. These were produced from the early years of Chelsea through to the Chelsea-Derby period. (The most comprehensive work on these items is "The Chelsea Porcelain Toys", by G.E. Bryant, published in 1925.)

Seals were carried by members of the upper class and used to imprint a uniquely identifiable mark in the wax used to sign or secure documents or letters...

A spectacularly decorated Lobmeyr goblet with a flared ogee bowl above a knop, all surmounting an inverted baluster stem with tear and panel cutting, terminating in a merise.

The bowl has beautifully executed Schwarzlot enameling depicting a hunting scene, with huntsmen, dogs, a horse, and a stag. The foot is also decorated with a stag, tree, and foliage...

A pewter tankard marked with the partial touch of John Townsend on the bottom of the inside of the bowl. There are no other marks except the engraved initials “I or J Y” on the front of the tankard. It is 7 inches (17.7 cm) tall and about 6 ½ inches (15 cm) from the front to the back edge of the handle.

Condition: Excellent. The engraving is very crisp. There are a few small dings on the edge of the lid and along the bottom edge...

A set of very decorative early brass irons, with wooden handles, Northern Europe / Denmark c. late 18th.-early 19th. century AD.

The irons with nice fine floral engravings on the surface, and one with royal mongram stamp and D&G stampes as well. They can be dated to c. 1780 and 1820.

These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. Gilding accents the reticulated borders. Chose from A or B or buy them both. Condition: Excellent
