These porcelain plates were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1750. They have the blue underglaze crossed swords mark from this period. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. The rims are scalloped and there is a molded basket-weave type border. The plates are about 1 1/2 inches deep. They are hand painted with colorful fruits and flowers. 18K yellow gold sapphire ring with three large sapphires and two diamonds, all roughly equal in size, in the form of a classic Victorian half hoop diamond ring, with emphasis on the gemstones. The ring is set with the gemstones "a jour", or "open to the day", meaning the ring can be worn for hand washing and is appropriate for everyday wear. The stones are polished and clear. The ring measures US 7 ½.

An extremely fine antique English porcelain coffee can, of flared form, made by the Chamberlain Worcester factory. The cup features a beautiful bouquet of flowers and stunning gilding on the borders, the entire interior, and the entire handle. It is fully marked with painted red script on the bottom. A double Irish chain quilt with printed cotton fabrics of red and green chains against a background of black spots on white cotton. The front is turned over to the back to make the edge. The quilting is simple diagonals.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1725. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The decoration of this cup is inspired by the Chinese. The ground color is pale yellow. The cup has two reserves containing hand painted flowers. There are flowers scattered around the saucer. Offered is this pair of antique (I would place its fabrication date between 1850 and 1900), glass candelabra, made by Baccarat. Each candelabra is 21 1/2 inches (55 cm) tall and 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) wide. Overall, it is in good condition - there are no cracks in the glass. There is age-appropriate wear to the hand-painted floral decor (see pictures). Couple of wax-drip-trays have chips (see last picture)...

Victorian Classical sterling silver goblet. Made by Elkington & Co. Ltd in Birmingham in 1859. Ovoid bowl on knopped cylindrical stem flowing into raised foot. Bowl has engraved vertical scrolled frames inset with leafing scrolls surmounted by scallop shells, except one, which is vacant in place of the shell. Foot has leaf and flower garland on stippled ground. Beading. Gilt interior. Fully marked. Very good condition.

A silver form porcelain teapot with the vented knop on the lid and the pattern number, “N 195” in red enamel on the base. This pattern is known as the “knitting wool” pattern. 5 ¾ (14.6 cm) inches tall, 9 3/8 inches (23.8 cm) across the handle and spout.

Condition: excellent. A tiny rough spot on the lip of the spout might be a tiny glaze chip or it could be a very small firing loss.

I think this form is one of the most pleasing for late 18th century teapots.

Georgian silver tea caddy spoon with ivory handle. Of shovel shape, the inside engraved with a monogram surrounded by forget-me-not flowers, the background checkered, textile-like. No marks, c 1800, England, possibly Birmingham. Length "4/ 10.4 cm.

A very fine twig basket, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. It was found in Pennsylvania, and is painted black, with the border and edge decoration painted in green, yellow, and orange over the black. The interior central portion of the basket is painted in green.

The basket is 8 5/8" in diameter and 4" tall. Condition is terrific, with no breaks...

A small New England Peachblow rose bowl with applied white vertical stripes. The 2 7/8 by 2 7/8 inch bowl has a crimped and scalloped rim and a broken pontil mark. The bowl is similar to those made for the 1893 World's Fair

An exceptionally nice English porcelain cup and saucer decorated with pink luster. The body is molded in a net pattern with reserves that are highlighted in overglaze blue, green, yellow and iron red enamels. The center of the saucer is decorated with a strawberry motif that is repeated in the bottom of the cup. The cup is raised on a slight foot. The saucer has very deep and steeply sloped sides so the hot tea could be drunk directly from the saucer, as was the custom.
