Copper lustre cream or milk jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed and enameled with Hope sitting on the seashore by an anchor, pointing towards the horizon where a ship is seen sailing away. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "3 ¼ / 8.5 cm. Condition: beak with a hairline (cf. pic). A larger Sunderland jug with Charity is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).
A lovely balustroid drinking glass with a flared bell bowl on a stem with an inverted baluster knop with enclosed tear. All this above a cushion basal knop surmounting a beaded knop above a domed and folded foot. Note that balustroids with teared knops are sometimes attributed to Newcastle glass houses. The bowl has a small black slag seed.
6 1/2 inches in height, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2 inches.
Beautiful set of jeweled glass finger-bowl and under-plate, made most likely by Moser. The bowl is 5 1/4 inches (13,5 cm) wide and 2 1/4 inches (6 cm) high. The under-plate is 5 3/4 inches (14 cm) wide and 3/4 inches (2 cm) high. Both are in fine condition (some expected usage scratches on under-plate). Unsigned, as expected.
This set of 6 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin in 1918. The black cross denotes this specific year. The plates have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. They have a reticulated border with rococo style rims. Each plate has a delicate spray of exquisitely hand painted flowers in shades of rose, green and gray. The borders and rims of these plates are accented with mint green and rose. The brush strokes look like tiny feathers...
A rare form of slag glass, this late 19th century example is richly marbled throughout. It rests on a round foot which rises on a stem supporting a tiered crown for the straight paneled bowl. This specimen is in outstanding condition and retains its identification tag from its original collector.

Papier maché and mother of pearl plaque depicting the romantic ruins of medieval Llanthony Priory in Wales. Probably part of a Victorian portrait case and made by Jennens & Bettridge around 1840. Jennens (sometimes Jennings) and Bettridge, originally based in Birmingham, were famous for their beautiful papier maché products and had stores in New York and Paris as well. This porcelain charger or plate was produced in Saxony around 1900. It has a manufacturer’s mark we are not familiar with. The plate measures 10 3/4 inches. The border is hand painted with alternating blue and cream colored squares. The cream colored squares contain hand painted baskets of flowers, framed in raised gold and topped off with a gold heart. The blue squares have scenes of young couples in early 19th century dress, standing in between potted topiary plants with ribbons...
This porcelain flower pot with under plate was produced at the Meissen Factory in Germany between the 1890s and 1910. The under plate has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches and the pot measures 6 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The porcelain is quite substantial and heavy. The pot is pierced in the bottom to let water drain. It is hand painted with vividly colored bunches of roses on both sides. There are little rose buds around the edge of the under plate...
Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. R112QT. Very good condition.

Finely potted blue and white Chinese export Canton handleless sugar bowl with minute, barely discernible firing flaws. About 5-1/2" W x 5-5/8" H. No chips, frits, hairlines or repairs. Sugar bowls with braided handles were harder to make and morphed into the later handleless ones, c. 1880-1910. Described as "rare" by the Schiffers in CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN, c. 1975.
