Victorian sterling silver baby cup. Made by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater in London in 1887. Straight and gently upward tapering sides and c-scroll handle. Ornamental borders engraved at top and bottom including ribbon-tied garlands. Festive and celebratory with plenty of room for announcing a special event. Interior gilt washed. Fully marked. Very good condition.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They measure 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The porcelain is molded with an ornate ruffled border. A wonderful hexagonal shaped ironstone flow mulberry covered dish with handles, often times called a vegetable dish, in the Jeddo pattern by William Adams and Sons, c. 1850.
The dish and lid are structurally sound but there are a few condition defects to note. On the underside of the lid, there are 2 very shallow chips. On the underside of the foot, there are also 2 chips - 1 very small and the other about 1/4". We show pictures of all defects...
