Very rare Staffordshire figural inkwell in the form of two birds nesting amongst flowers. A beautifully modeled and painted tulip stands upright between the birds. It is possible that the tulip was intended as a candlestick, because the quill holders are in the base near the birds' tails. Origin: England, ca. 1870. Size: 2-3/4" diameter; 3" tall. Condition: excellent, no damage or repairs.

A Victorian Silver Plate Partners Inkstand or Standish; with Two Lidded Ink Bottles and a Central Ponce Pot Covered with a Taperstick. From London circa 1850's. Dimensions; 7.75" wide x 5" deep x 4.5" high. It has a descriptive label, with original misspelling (see picture). Some wear, but excellent condition.

This antique serving spoon from the Georgian era has a berry motif in the gold-washed interior of the bowl (the wash is very pale and doesn’t show up in the photos). By its hallmarks, it was made in London during 1768-1769. The maker’s mark is a script “BB”. It measures 8-1/2" x 1-3/4", and weighs approximately 56g. So beautiful! Antique papier mache black lacquer and gold fan featuring a scene of Japanese mother carrying her child, a daughter, on her back. Her servant girl is with them. Display stand is much newer than the fan and is included. Fan without stand measures 15.5" high x 7.5 across. With stand 16" high.

Figural majolica tobacco humidor in the form of a ball player. The piece is decorated in beautiful, rich colors under the shiny tin glaze. The base is impressed "10830II" and is also painted with the decorator's mark.

Very rare sterling silver oyster ladle in Whiting's classic 1880 "Bead" pattern. The simplicity of the handle decoration is relieved by the ruffled edge of the bowl. It's simplicity enables the pattern to work with a wide range of other American Colonial-inspired patterns. The oyster ladle form is quite rare, as only the most complete silver services ever had such serving pieces. Hallmarked with Whiting's early hallmark and "Pat Appd For" (indicating an early date).

A Gorham Sterling Silver Berry or Serving Spoon in the "Raphael" pattern, patented 1874 and dated from shortly after. It is 8" in length with an oval bowl of 3.5" x 2.5". There is an elaborate monogram on the handle, matching item #534 (see picture) and the condition is excellent.

This porcelain oyster plate was produced in France by Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges in the 1890s. It measures 9 inches in diameter. It has 6 wells and a salt compartment in the center. The plate is decorated with factory transfer designs that are colored by hand. There is an assortment of sea creatures accented with flowers. The border and shell compartments are highlighted with brushed-on gilding. Condition: Excellent

An impressive and well-designed antique Bohemian glass paperweight. The bullet-shaped weight encloses a large central red, white and blue lily surrounded by three smaller lilies, all emanating from a speckled glass pot at the base. 17" black sock doll with shoe button eyes, flat black button nose and applied soft red floss mouth. She is stuffed firmly with rags. She has on a while slip, white pantaloons and a gray blouse with red trim. The clothes are old but not original. She bends so she sits nicely. She has a cute expression that says, no fooling around here I have lots to think about. Circa 1900-1920

Lovely set of 12 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks by Davis & Galt. The handles are heavily decorated with an unusual repousse paisley pattern. The workmanship is very nice. The backs are hallmarked by the maker and have the retailer’s mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

A lovely antique emerald green Moser style glass perfume bottle comprised of three layers of glass (light mint green white, emerald green, clear) with gold enamel scroll work. With some minor loss to gold gilt commensurate with age and the end of the stopper is broken, this is considered to be in very good antique condition.. Measures 6.75" high, body 3" diameter, 2" diameter at foot. Czechoslovakian circa 1880.
