An elegant Thomas Ellis sterling silver and whalebone toddy ladle with an elongated bowl with a rope twist edging. The twisted baleen handle affords a better grip and retains its original end cap. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1914. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The set has bands of deep, ruby red. Gilded medallions contain bunches of forget-me nots. Lacy gilding overlays the ruby red ground. The rims, handle and interior of the cup are heavily gilded. It has a brilliant, classic style. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

Yellow Shell, part tea service: a slop bowl and a dish, three cups and two saucers. This very popular folk art or naïve style pattern was produced in more than one Staffordshire kiln in the early 19th century, among them Ridgway & Sons and Machin. Very handsome and heavy sterling silver master salt dish in the Georgian style. The flattened spherical body has a modified egg and dart border and is raised on acanthus leaf legs terminating in animal paw feet. Goodnow & Jenks was Boston's finest silversmith, albeit only for a short period, 1893-1905. The bottom is marked with the maker's mark, as well as a partially obscured retailer's mark.

A pair of octagonal dessert plates by Copeland, the edges dented and gilt. Japanised, “Aesthetic” decoration of brambles or blackberries, transfer printed and hand painted with some gilt over part of the withered leaves and berries. Diameter "9/ 22.8 cm. The back with the impressed curved mark used by Copeland from 1860 to 1880, and N80, probably for November 1880. Condition: fine.

Three English silver fiddle serving spoons, all three made in London. One is Georgian, the other two Victorian. Spoon with engraved N has year marks for 1841 and makers mark GA for George William Adams, engraved JJH 1842, makers mark RB for Richard Britton and AVW 1829, makers mark JH for Jonathan Hayne. Length "8 ¾ - 9/ 22.5 – 23 cm, weight altogether 213 grams. Condition: fine.

A Pair of Bronze and Onyx Garnitures Urns from the Late 19th century. They were originally made to go with a mantle clock. Dimensions 14" high, including base x 4" wide. Excellent condition.

A nice Staffordshire inkwell or quill holder in the form of a recumbent deer. The naive painted decoration almost makes it look as if she's wearing a little black hat. The doe is posed on a white base molded as a rocky outcropping. The base is highlighted with a burnished gilt line.

Measuring 20" long x 6" high x 3" deep, this circa 1850, wonderful and quite fancy, completely hand-forged iron utensil or clothing rack sports 5 hooks for hanging. It features the ornate and unusual double ram's ear design which adds to its visual appeal - a true work of 19th century blacksmith art with utilitarian purpose.

A delightful Georgian lacquered papier-maché snuffbox or tobacco box. The hinged cover is decorated with a handpainted scene depicting a court scene. The sides of the box are painted in colorful floral tracery against a dark green ground. The bottom is decorated with a large gilt medallion against a black background.
