A well made 18th century Italian dry drug jar. The body is a red clay covered with white slip then painted in blue with a dentil style pattern at the top and bottom with the name of the drug in the central section. The inside is similarly covered in white slip and shows the ridges from being turned on a potter’s wheel. This jar would have been part of a set of jars used for dry drugs in a pharmacy. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inched diameter...

Beautiful set of 12 Royal Doulton service plates, handpainted by R. Brown. They are all scenes of castles and inns in England. They measure 10 1/4" in diameter, and are in excellent condition, with a tiny scratch here and there, but you have to look very close to see it...

This is an extremely nice example of a Bow porcelain figure of winter from the "Rustic Seasons" group. It depicts an older man wearing a cowled garment, sitting on a mound of rocks, and warming his hands over a brazier. The brazier is set amidst flowers and leaves, with the whole scene raised on four scroll feet.

The piece is 6 1/2" tall, and is in overall excellent and exceptional condition. There are several minor chips to two of the leaves and a flower...

From our European Collection, a fine and very ornate cast iron plant stand, late 19th century, most likely French though possibly Spanish, featuring highly detailed and animated figures gracing the corners, along with some very intricate openwork on the legs and stand surfaces.

Size and Condition: 30 inches tall, 15 inches wide, 15 inches deep. Some minor and general wear commensurate with age but really no notable flaws...

This charming tea bowl is decorated with a Chinoiserie scene with three figures, one of them holding a bird. It dates from around 1775, and exemplifies the motifs that were so popular in that period. The interior has an iron-red border and sprig at the bottom of the bowl.

The bowl is 3 1/8" in diameter and 1 3/4" high. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restorations, etc...

A tall, elegant, and beautiful English ratafia DSOT (double series opaque twist) glass. Ratafia glasses are quite uncommon, and this is a particularly fine example. The elongated conical bowl is molded and leads into a stem with a pair of spiral threads outside of a lace twist.

A fine and unusual antique English drinking glass of Jacobite significance. The round funnel bowl is beautifully engraved with a rose, a bud to the right, a butterfly, and foliage. The stem is of the double series air twist type, quite uncommon because of the configuration of a pair of mercury corkscrews outside of a central cable. Conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. A white nunglazed porcelain bust of a young man on a blue and gilt socle with the name “VIALA†in gilt. With the beginning of the third Republic and the end of the possibility of the Monarchy returning, there was a revival of interest in the Revolution. Uniquely shaped Galle vase with his signature. Floral inspired design. This acid etched cameo vase contains several layers of glass. The base color is a frosted olive green. The acorns and stems are shades of plum and lavender. The top portion of the vase contains lighter tones of olive green. Signed Galle. Circa 1900.

Extremely rare pair of Victorian cast iron flamingo garden ornaments. Dating from the late 19th century, these flamingos are exceptional. I've seen many later versions in concrete or plastic, but never another pair this old or made of cast iron.
