This is a magnificent coin silver fish serving set, ca. 1865, unmarked, in the Aesthestic taste with boldly cast and applied medallions and highly decorative bright-cut engraving. While unmarked, this set bears a striking resemblance to a medallion pattern made by John Polhamus and retailed by Tiffany during the same period. A Rare Matched Set of Six Early George III Scottish Silver Dessert Spoons. By Patrick Robertson and Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1766. In the Hanoverian Rat-tail Pattern, with Bottom Struck Marks at the Narrow Part of the Stem (making the marks somewhat indistinct). Dimensions; 7.25" in length and 7.6 Troy ounces in total. A Rare Early American Coin Silver Footed Dish (probably for Candy) Made by Albert Coles, Prominent NY City Silversmith who worked from 1836-1880 (died in 1886). Dimensions; 5" wide (9.25" to handles) x 2.5" high; weight 5.5 Troy ounces. Gold washed interior. Circa 1840's. Excellent condition.

A Very Large and Impressive KPM (Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur, Berlin) Pitcher or Ewer; in Blue and White Bisque Relief. Composed of Allegorical Figures; a Cupid and a Man and Woman as Mermen, and the Sea God. Dimensions; 13" high x 8" wide and a weight of 6 lbs. With Blue Scepter Mark and the Red KPM and Globe Mark, circa 1880. In very fine condition.

A Royal Rudolstadt (Prussia) Swan Shaped Open Tureen, in a pale blue (could also be used as a planter). Dimensions; 11" x 8" x 8.5" high. Circa 1900. Excellent condition.

Magnificent large French amphora. The finely detailed enamel scenary was made utilizing "petit poi" method. The ornate base is made of bronze.

A large Dresden Porcelain Ewer by Sitzendorf (Thuringia, Germany). It is heavily decorated with puttis and weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz. and measures 15" high x 7" wide. It dates from 1887-1896. There is a slight chip on the hoof below the lip of the ewer, otherwise in excellent condition.

Here is a unique gift for Christmas: a 19th century ivory letter opener in the form a dagger with a charming hand-carved elephant handle. The beautiful curved dagger blade is attached with old nails to the wooden handle. Measurement: length: 13 1/2 inches. Condition: two very minor losses at edge of base of wooden handle (1/8 inch each).

A delightful early 19th century French silver tastevin featuring a 1770 Louis XV coin and a wonderfully decorated handle. The handle decoration depicts a man seated atop a wine barrel grasping a wine bottle in one hand and a Cupid's arrow in the other. The design is completed with the legend "Vive l'amour et le vin" ("Long live love and wine."). This type of handle was developed in the early 1700s and was used mostly in the Burgundy region...

Art Nouveau Bronze Figural Tray, with a Woman with Book and Pen and surrounded by Flowers. Dimensions; 13.5" long x 7" deep x 5" high. Weight, a substantial 78 ounces. Circa 1910-1920 and in excellent condition with wonderful patina.

This is an elegant 19th Century Victorian ivory page turner, the handle embellished with delicately carved flowers and C scrolls. The Victorians used page turners to protect the pages of valuable books from damage; they were also used to protect the hands from newsprint. Measurement: length: 12 inches. Condition: excellent; no chips or cracks; some yellow age spots on the blade.
