This mid 19th century folk art crazy quilt is a wonderful mix of richly colored silks and hand embellished surface stitches. The back is a green cotton sateen fabric tied with floss. Eighty seven silk tags create a whimsical border around the entire piece. Taken from a house used as part of the Underground Railroad during the Civil War, we believe this piece was the energetic work of a child learning how to sew. This is an American ornate sterling silver baby food pusher made by Whiting Manufacturing Company in the Imperial Queen Pattern, circa 1893; the base of the front handle marked with the maker's mark, STERLING and Pat. 1893. the backside of the pusher monogrammed in Italics C.B.K. Jr; Measurements-handle 3.75 inches long, the blade measures 1,75 inches across. Condition- Excellent

A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

Panelled and diaper molded border picked out in blue and green, handpainted and signed "P. Vissier", and dated 1769. The plate has two labels, one from the Newman collection, and the other from the Harriet Carlton Goldweitz collection, considered one of the finest English pottery collections of the last 25 years. 9 5/8 inches in diameter, superb condition with deep, vibrant color, and no chips, cracks, or restoration.

A unusual brass tea caddy from the Imperial Romanov era. These boxes are much more frequently seen as rectangular shapes rather than ovals. The hinged lid is decorated with an ornately detailed appliqué of the imperial Romanov double-headed eagle. The interior is tin-lined in the traditional Russian style. The lid can be locked with a small padlock—a reminder that tea was once an expensive, luxurious commodity that had to be protected from household thieves...

A large silk satin fan, with sixteen gilt decorated wood "sticks", hand-painted depicting four birds amongst flowering prunus or cherry branches. A Very Fine/Large Celadon Inlaid Cosmetic Box and Cover-13th C.: Korea, Koryo period, 13th Century, It is a quite large circular box with domed cover decorated in inlaid with a double cranes within a double white slip inlaid surrounded by four cranes flying in raining on the cover, the edges in a white slip inlaid with a stylized pattern. It is in fine condition with no damage at all. It measures 9,5cm x 4.5cm or 3 3/4” x 1 3/4”.

This is a fabulous Victorian sterling ladies’ card case for that special collector, marked "sterling and "W&H" for the well-known New York silversmiths Wood & Hughes. The shaped case, with an attachment for a chain, has beautiful foliate engraving surrounding a central cartouche with the name "Hettie" and "1876" in the center; a Victorian heart is engraved on the reverse. Condition: very good with minor nicks; hinged lid snaps closed evenly. Measurement: 3.50 in long. x 2.50 in. wide
