This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. The beehive marking is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The cup features a pedestal base and a graceful loop handle. There is a cartouche on the front of the cup containing a hand painted scene of a beautiful woman and cupid with surrounding landscape. Unmarked, but likely Minton, soft paste porcelain covered sauce tureen "Feuille de choux" pattern with a rose finial. These knock-offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid-19th century (c.1850)onward and Minton made many very good ones. With the lid it is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall, 7 1/4 inches (18.4 cm) long, and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.

Condition: The lid has no damage and slight wear to the gilding on one edge...

Heavy brass letter opener with a fully repoussed handle. There is a face on both sides at the end of the handle. It is made to look like a barbed dagger or sword. It measures approximately 9 inches long and at its widest, it measures 1.25 inches. The overall weight is 152.5g. It most likely dates to the late Victorian era; it is unmarked and in very good condition.

Exquisite cut glass flower centre bowl in the Glenwood pattern by J. D. Burgen, 1899. This bowl was made in three sizes, and this 12 inch one is the largest of the three. It is in perfect original condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is referenced and pictured in the Encyclopedia of American Cut and Engraved Glass by Michael Pearson, Volume 1, page 58.
