American Brilliant Cut Glass Pitcher richly cut with deep vessicas, stars, and other embellishments. The bulbous body tapers to wide neck with scalloped rim. The attached heavily faceted handle has a flat top. The underside has 32 point star. The blank is very clear. Condition is superb. Marked Libbey on the handle top. This pitcher is a superior example of brilliant cut glass in general but of hollow ware in particular. Height: 7 1/2"

Circa 1860 superb French bronze jewelry casket with velvet lining on 4 lion paw feet. With excellent detailing throughout, the lid features a foliate head known as Greenman and is bordered with roses and acanthus leaves. It has a lock on the front but the key is no longer with it. This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden Factory in the 1890s. The plates measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter. They have a reticulated border measuring about 1 1/4 inches with tiny blue and gold raised rosettes. Vividly colored floral sprays and a ring of flowers decorated the centers of each plate. These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. A very nice pair of antique hand knit blue and white cotton socks with a initials at the top. I think the initials are WWF.
