Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase with engraved silver overlay. Elongated baluster with flared rim and raised foot. Overlay in form of budding and blooming tulips with entwined and whiplash tendrils. On foot is scrolled cartouche engraved with scroll-letter C between the years 1880 and 1905. Glass is green. Antique second half of the 19th century Bohemian hand-blown clear cut-glass decanter and stopper made for the Middle Eastern, Persian and Ottoman market. Body of bulbous form with long neck applied with three faceted rings, cut with leaf-shaped panels of hobnail, leaves and diamonds, enamelled with blossom and scrolls and gold gilt, with spire stopper. Base with a ground down pontil mark.

This brush was made by the well-known Gorham Manufacturing Company. The design looks like the top of an antique steamer chest, with a Steampunk-like strapping-and-stud motif. Was offered for sale in 1908 in London by the Windsor auction house, appraised by a certain Mr Knox as being a rose point lace, Venetian work from middle 17th century or a later French copy from the period of the reign of Louis XIV.
