A wonderful Art Nouveau sterling silver cracker scoop in Blackinton’s 1904 “Daisy” pattern. The handle, decorated with flowers and foliage, nicely accents the ruffled edge of the bowl. A lovely bright olive green vase with molded ribbed blocking and cold-gilt gold and platinum decoration depicting thistles. The gilding is of very fine quality and has almost an Aesthetic Movement appearance. The vase uses a cased construction of various layers of clear and colored glass typical of Moser. The bottom is finished with a concave polished pontil and is marked with the form/decoration code “Q/195”.

This shaving box is a truly wonderful and unusual piece of Americana, and was used to hold and sharpen razors. It was not a common household object, and not many survived from the 18th century. Nina Fletcher Little discusses these charming boxes in her book, Neat and Tidy, and shows a similar example. This particular example is made from birch, and has chip carved saw-tooth edges, and, on three sides, scribed designs...

An antique wine glass of lead composition. This drinking glass has a drawn trumpet bowl and a stem with a trapped tear. The bowl has diamond point engraving with the names Harlord Wright and Frances Chat, followed by the Latin saying flammae felices quas mutuus exitat ardor. Loosely translated, this means How fortunate are those for whom the flames of love burn without change, a charming sentiment for what is a marriage or anniversary glass. An 18th century antique wine glass, English lead, with a flared bell bowl, plain stem, rough snapped pontil, and folded foot. Simple, but with elegant form, this glass is 6 5/16 inches tall, 2 15/16 inch bowl diameter, 3 1/8 inch foot diameter.

A beautifully made and proportioned antique wine glass with a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem. The cup bowl has honeycomb molding, and the stem has shoulder and medial knops. With good weight and tooling, this elegant glass stands tall at 6 1/2 inches, with a 2 9/16 inch bowl diameter and a 3 1/8 inch foot diameter. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

This extremely large 18th century Dutch glass goblet, which was made for the German market, has incredibly detailed engraving of a galleon ship and buildings, with the saying Het Well Vaaren Van Ons Vaaderland, which translates as Success to Our Homeland. The large bell bowl sits atop a 4 knopped stem which has, in sequence from the top, a flattened knop, an inverted baluster knop, an annular knop, and a half knop. A trapped tear extends the entire length of the stem...

A fine little dish in what is often called Leeds feather edge. Accurately speaking, this is not a true Leeds feather edge piece, but is an English pearlware pickle leaf dish with blue edge decoration. The terms Leeds and feather edge are, unfortunately, generally misused to describe any piece of pottery with a decorated edge...

This is a very beautiful set of seven crystal goblets manufactured by the prestigious Bohemian firm Josephinenhutte between 1880-1890, delicately enameled with a scroll and ribbon design in two shades of gold centered with clusters of lucious purple grapes, gold number painted underneath foot; 5 1/2 in H, pristine.

This is the perfect toasting goblet to ring in the holidays. Bohemian, hand blown, deep green colored crystal, intricately engraved with four gilt holly bough pattern, gold banded trim, in the style of Josephinehutte, c.1885. Measures 7 3/4"H; Condition: excellent with slight gilt wear to top of rim.

This beautifully decorated Bohemian wine goblet is in the style of Josephinenhutte, ca. 1885, finely enamelel and gilt design of an oak leaf and acorn pattern framed with a stylized branch pattern below the bowl rim, colorless crystal bowl resting on a fluid green stem and leaf encircled foot. A scalloped top coffee cup made by the Richard Chaffers factory in Liverpool. It has a version of the Scarlet Japan pattern with panels of prunus and chrysanthemums separated by orange bands with gilding and reserved with mons. The interior also has three mons in red. The handle is of simple loop form. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall, and 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The condition is about as close to mint as you can get, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or restoration...
