This is a magnificent Victorian set of large gold plated sewing scissors with matching sheath in the style of WMF, circa 1900, the handles and sheath of beautifully cast with sinewy Art Nouveau petals and leaves; blades are steel-cut and marked "Germany;" condition: sheath case and handles in excellent condition; some pitting and wear on the blades; measurement: , 11 inches, in sheath.

An ornate thick sterling silver overlay and glass decanter decorated in the Art Nouveau style with an intricately designed pattern of grapes and leaves, having a beautiful lattice pattern extending up the neck. The matching hexagon shaped finial stopper is hand blown with a tear drop bubble. The handle is of a solid silver overlay design, monogrammed, stamped STERLING and Style No.745 on base, circa 1895...

Circa 1900, a large needlework panel done in petit and gros point of a dog sitting on a stool in front of a window and bordered by various floral panels. Colors are cream and varied tones of reds, browns and tan. In a museum quality antique tiger maple frame with gold gilt liner and a wood panel back, it measures 23 x 26". Embroidery sight size measures 17.5” x 20.5".

Late Victorian sterling silver olive spoons/spears such as this are the perfect accompaniment for a sophisticated bar set-up. They can be used for olives, of course, but also for cocktail onions or cherries. They can also be used as a stir in a cocktail pitcher or shaker. The spoon retains its original semi-matte gilding. The stem is marked “925/1000 Sterling.”

A Moser cranberry perfume or cologne bottle that is nicely enameled with some wear to the gold scrolls in the reserves. The stopper and the bottle both bear a small gold “5" indicating that these have always been together.

This is an elegant 19th Century Victorian ivory page turner, the handle embellished with delicately carved flowers and C scrolls. This is the second largest size in this mold; the vase stands 12 1/8 inches (31 cm) tall. Vases larger than 10 inches are uncommon for Rookwood. Unsigned, this 10" Mont Joye crystal cameo glass vase is beautifully hand enameled in a pattern of orchids over a clear "chipped ice" ground. Circa 1910

Condition: Excellent, no damage or repairs. There is slight age wear to the polished pontil base and wear to the gilded inner rim in spots, revealing the green enamel undercoat, as illustrated in the sixth photograph.

A rare hammered brass cigar humidor bearing the double-headed eagle insignia of Russia's Romanov dynasty. The tall humidor is of seamed construction and has a hammered surface. An elaborately painted and gilt cabinet cup and saucer depicting St. Stephan cathedral in Vienna. The painting is delicate and the tiny figures are from the 19th century. The gilding is both flat and raised. The saucer is 5 ¼ inch diameter (13.5cm). The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall (6.5 cm).

An American Victorian Era Wooden Hourglass, with a 10 Minute Timer from the Running Sand. Dimensions; 13.75" high x 6" wide at the base and top; the glass column (encased in wood frame)is 12" high x 2" wide. From 1890-1910 and with wear at the top and bottom from use.

A very nice peacock or electric blue glass inkwell, the body cut in large facets. The hinged lid is topped with a figural cherub cast in glass of a matching color. The figure is completed with a matte acid finish that contrasts beautifully with the main part of the inkwell’s body. We’ve only seen this particular lid once and the figure was molded in colorless glass.
