This set of 13 porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1905. The date cipher indicates this year. Two artists signed the plates, E. Clark and C. Harris. The plates measure 8 7/8” in diameter. The fine white bone china is molded, rounding out the center and giving it depth. The rims are contoured so that the plates are divided into 6 segments. This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos. Sterling silver bust spoon by Bailey Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia. In excellent condition it measures 4.75" long.

A two-handled solid silver bowl made around 1890. Unmarked, but its shape and the pierced pattern with crescents and six-pointed stars indicates a Russian and Jewish origin. Tested for a silver content of 800 / 1000 (minimum). Weight 157 grams, width "4 ½ / 11 cm and height "2 ½ / 6 ½ cm. Condition: fine.

A very nice sterling silver pincushion and sewing box by Tiffany & Co. The pierced sterling silver walls enclose a sewing box (or jewelry box) with two hinged tops that serve as pincushions. The current dark purple velvet is a replacement, but is placed over the original box structure. The pierced handle has an area that can be monogrammed (never been monogrammed). The whole is raised on bun feet. The bottom is marked with the Tiffany hallmark in use 1902-07.

Here is a Washington- and Masonic-themed spoon which is marked STERLING F.A. WHELAN. Both sides of the bowl, the hilt, and the tip are gold washed. It has a lot of Masonic symbolism incorporated into the design. The dates on the spoon handle (1732-1799) are the birth and death dates for George Washington, who was a Mason. A Pair of superb quality antique, 1900 A.D. English Sterling Silver Gilt Anointing Spoons. These are replicas of the spoons from the Edward VII and his wife Alexandra Coronation Regalia, as The King and The Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Empire, on August 9, 1902. From what I've read, holy oil is poured from the Ampulla, which is in the form of a gold eagle, into the spoon. Turn-of-the-century cut-glass perfume bottle with sterling silver stopper. Globular with short and faceted neck and shoulder, and everted rim. Star, fern, and diaper ornament. Globular stopper with dense repousse-style flowers and ferns on stippled ground. Marked “Sterling” with stamp for James R. Armiger Co., a Baltimore maker that began working under that name in 1896.
