A pair of tall beautiful Bohemian art glass vases decorated (most probably by acid etching) with pastoral scenes. Overall, the vases are in good condition (there are some flea-bites on rims and a tiny flea-bite on the body of one vase). Unsigned - attributed to Beyermann of Haida based on decor and shape.

Unsigned. The deep miter-cut star on the base of the chalice and the lavish gilding on it would strongly suggest that this chalice was made in Bohemia in the Biedermeier period (1825-1845)...

A wonderful and amusing hooked rug depicting an aardvark. I have collected many rugs featuring animals but have never seen another with an aardvark. Well, at least I think this is someone's interpretation of an aardvark, or possibly a beaver, armadillo or pangolin. A magnificent sterling silver claret spoon by Dominick & Haff. This example is strikingly decorated in a pattern representing three different varieties of chrystanthemums. The decoration appears to be loosely based on Dominick & Haff's "#10" pattern, though this is much more ornate. The area around the flowers is intricately pierced in the rococo style. A very early renaissance type European pewter jug in excellent condition with clear marks and engravings. On the front a crowned H and G inside a heart all inside a wreath and below ACK, so this would have been inscribed for a wedding between H and G in 1700 and the donator was probably ACK.
