This is a rare applied butterfly (Marquetry) box, made by Bohemian master, Ludwig Moser, around 1885. Like typical Moser objects from that epoch, the box is unsigned. But such applied-glass-motif objects were made by Moser and Harrach in Bohemia and Thomas Webb in England (refer to Baldwin's book on Moser glass). Under black-light, the box fluoresces a gentle greenish color, so the glass blank is definitely of Bohemian origin. The box is 3 1/4 inches (8,3 cm) tall and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide...

Offered is this beautiful French cameo glass vase made by Andre Delatte of Nancy (a contemporary of Daum of Nancy), around 1920. The vase is 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) tall and is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) wide at the base. It is in very good condition. It is cameo signed, 'A. Delatte Nancy' (the 'Nancy'-part is faded). It is also artist signed by, what looks like, 'Michel-Mel Harbe' (see last picture).

Offered is this beautifully enameled Bohemian glass vase. The vase is decorated with gold-gilt floral motif. The highlight of the vase is the ornately hand-painted floral medallion that was applied to the glass-body. The vase is a little over 10 inches (25 cm) tall. A beautiful three-piece antique French clock garniture set, made by F.Marti. Made of metal and marble, the set consists of a clock and two accent pieces. Overall, the set is in very good condition (the top-filial on the clock is a little loose). The clock-works is marked, 'S. Marti Medaille d'Or Paris 1900' - see last picture. The clock is approximately 15 inches (37,5 cm) tall and 10 inches (25 cm) wide. Each of the accent pieces is approximately 11 inches (27,5 cm) tall.

This wildly over-the-top Egyptian Revival inkwell has the goddess Hathor as the center piece. She was the goddess of dance, music, and fertility (how cool is that!). She is wearing big earrings, and her usual headdress. She seems to have a flower in her hair, and in front of her there is foliage tied by a ribbon with a bow (we can’t tell if it’s laurel or mistletoe)...

The biscuit jar is fully marked (Mt Washington shape number, 'M.W. 4413' engraved on the inside of the lid, and, 'Pairpoint 3910' stamped on the jar's bottom - see last two pictures)...

This porcelain jardinière was produced in France by Bernardaud & Co. Limoges between 1900 and 1914. The porcelain was sold white ware to a studio artist to be decorated later. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The jardinière is approximately 12 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches high. It is hand painted with brightly colored chrysanthemums in art nouveau style. The ground color is mint green that shades from lighter to a bit darker from top to bottom...

A beautiful Findlay Onyx glass celery vase, made by Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton company, around 1889. The vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Except for the usual roughness around the rim, typical of Findlay Onyx glass items, it is in fine condition.

This is a very interesting piece created by an early artist very skilled in needlework: an oval shaped map of England and Wales and small parts of Ireland, Scotland and France, the oval measuring approximately 19 1/2" by 17" (about 27" by 22 1/2" in the vintage gold frame). Judging from the seated figure of Britannia and the lettering and overall handling, I'd estimate this to date to the late 18th or early 19th century. Rarely do you find a pair of early 1800's Anglo Irish cut crystal decanters complete with their original stoppers. They are in excellent condition for their age with just a few small chips. The most notable is a chip on one of the bases that you can see when turning the decanter upside down. The decanters are stable, don't wobble, no hairlines, and no cracks. Measure about 9.75 inches high, diameter about 3.75". Dates Circa 1800-1850.

An exceptionally wonderful example of this well-known and highly collected historical Staffordshire scene, with the added bonus of being in the very rare form of a shaped tray. This piece is 10" in length and 5 3/4" in width,with the impressed Clews mark on the reverse. A very handsome sterling silver gravy ladle in John R. Wendt’s “Medallion” pattern. Wendt’s version was one of the earliest designs to use classical profiles as the primary decorative element. The medallion, depicting the goddess Pallas Athena, is supported by a reeded stem that leads to the oval bowl with flared edges. The back is stamped with the retailer’s mark for D. H. Buell & Co., and with the “925” that is often found on early Wendt pieces.

An English wine glass featuring a pointed round funnel bowl with a solid teared base above a short plain stem section above a ball knop topping a four-sided molded pedestal stem. Lead glass. Conical foot with folded rim. Rough pontil.

Fine condition with no issues, standing 5 1/2" tall with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 5/8". Good color and striations. The glass has museum and collection labels and marks on the foot, all easiy removed if desired.

Very pretty hand chased sterling basket by Whiting Mfg. Co. Basket measures 3 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" tall ( excluding the handle). This Aesthetic Movement basket has a lovely detailed foliate motif (morning glory?), a fluted rim, and a gilded interior. The twisted handle is attached to a beautiful curved silver application and rests on the side of the basket. There is a monogram on the back. Circa 1870. Excellent condition.

An elegant Art Nouveau glass vase decorated with enameled poppies. The blossoms are worked in shades of cream, yellow, rose and violet, while the foliage is stained a reddish-purple and highlighted with complex lacy gilding. The upper rim is decorated with a band of stained and gilt flowers, as well. The vase is blown in pillar form with an optic paneled design. The workmanship is very fine. Unsigned, but definitely made by Mont Joye (also know as Verreries Saint-Denis and Legras).

Rare large ironstone platter in the Imari taste with a cobalt blue border by G.L. Ashworth, the successor to Mason’s. The platter’s rim is unusually decorated with reserves showing Japanese ladies with parasols and floral elements surrounded by gilding. The central design shows an Asian-themed still life including peonies, lotus blossoms, pagodas, etc. The back is printed with Ashworth’s mark, is impressed “Real Ironstone China”, and has a decorator’s mark.

A very fine berry or casserole spoon in John R. Wendt's "Medallion" pattern. The handle features an oval reserve centered with a medallion profile of the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. The elongated bowl is beautifully scalloped. The back of the medallion has a period monogram "A" and the stem is marked with the retailer's mark for Ball, Black & Co. and with "925" for sterling. Wendt did not use his own hallmark in this period.
