This is 4 STERLING GORHAM NAPKIN RINGS from a Virginia, USA Estate.
Distinctive Border decorations and chase work typically late VICTORIAN to early 20th Century.
Size each is 1 1/2" X 1 15/16". Each is marked: Lion Anchor G STERLING 1420 N. All are lightly monogrammed: (looks like HDP).
Note: one piece is slightly bent and dinged.. others show only typical modest use and no abuse
This piece is a fantastic specimen of Southeast Asian art from the 12-13th century Khmer culture. It was cleaned several years ago by the previous owner but does retain some of its original patina. It appears to have been crafted in two pieces and is cast from either a copper or possibly a silver alloy - though I have not had it tested. It is just under 19 cm tall and weighs 335 grams.
Heavy storage jar signed "ME", by Dave the Slave. His fingerprints are on the bottom of the jar and it measures 7" Height, and 5" in width. The Edgefield pottery expert believes that this jar was made by Dave the Slave. This is the shortest poem written by Dave the Slave.
Magnificent and rare German BERLIN Koenigliche Porzellan Manufaktur "KPM" reticulated or cut out 2-piece porcelain basket vase, sugar basket also known as compote (1820 - 1830, designed by Karl Friederich Schinkel). The outer container is a white and gold basket weave in a lattice pattern and the separate inset piece/fitted interior bowl is a gorgeous powder-lapis lazuli-blue and gold recipient. This is the upper part of a kamishimo; samurai's formal attire without the trousers. It was worn over a kosode (kimono with small sleeves) with trousers. The texture is hemp like; coarse, slightly translucent, thick threads (thicker than other kamishimo). The family crest is the feathers of a hawk. Kami-shimo (upper-lower) that we currently have are quite dandy and fashionable. The amazing thing is the work that is involved when making these fabrics...

Up for sale is a very rare large antique Chinese export round shape famille rose plate, hand painted and glazed, picture depicting an imperial family member wearing bright yellow robe together with other officials, total of 7 characters, and a little black and white dog in the lower right,18th century.
Overall is in very good condition, no crack, no chip, very minor wear. ( see picture ).

Pair lovely Minton porcelain cabinet plates featuring handpainted pastoral scenes. One shows a footbridge over a rushing stream and the other shows a pair of cows wading in a pond. Three inch long day-night earrings with a lovely rococo design that incorporates foliate and shell motifs set with Persian turquoise and enlivened by the two-color 15K gold. An extremely rare and fine composite stem English Georgian marriage wine goblet with Dutch engraving.
The round funnel bowl features an oval cartouche with a pair of clasped hands, reaching out of clouds, in front of a blazing heart, all of this backed by rays of sunshine. The cartouche is surrounded by fulsomely engraved elaborate scrolls, foliage, and groups of flowers, all highlighted by superb polished details. The reverse of the glass is inscribed with 'T GOED SUCCES VAN 'T HOUWELYK.
