A fine sweetmeat with a double ogee bowl with a slightly everted rim. The bowl is atop a bladed knop, below which is a hollow 8 sided molded pedestal stem. At the bottom of the stem are 4 merises above a nicely domed and folded foot.

The glass is in overall excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a small (1/4" by 1/8") manufacturing flaw in the side of the bowl, shown in extreme closeup in the 4th photo. The flaw can be seen and felt on both sides, but in not broken...

Two exquisitely enameled Höchst coffee cups, one with a rose and the other with a tulip. The porcelain manufacture of Höchst near Frankfurt am Main was founded in 1746, and the two coffee cups were made around 1765. Underglaze blue wheel mark to both, and brown rims. Height "2/ 5 cm, diameter "2 ¾ / 7.1-7.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A very fine pair of cast and engraved Louis XVI style bronze dore candlesticks. The round bases are decorated with beading and an ornate wreath of acanthus leaves. The pillars are fluted and broaden slightly before reaching the upper knop, also with acanthus leaf decoration. The sockets are likewise decorated. The original gilding is largely in place.

This is quite the scrap book. The back and front are cloth covered in blue and white calico. The pages are also cloth with stitching around all the edges. The trade and advertising cards are glued down on both sides of the fabric. The pages are bound together by three holes and each page and tied with a yellow ribbon. Gorgeous Qing Dynasty Chinese export porcelain vase with Rose Medallion enameled decoration. The body has a beautiful white color and intricate painted decoration of peonies, quince fruit, waterlilies, butterflies and birds. These darling 2 1/2" tall Koala bears are antique velvet. They have some kind of metal buttons for eyes and noses. Their little paws wrap around the real nut shells. They have old red ribbons around their necks. The ribbons are old but may not be original. The velvet has lost some of the pile but it is not noticeable with the foundation fabric being the same color. They are a little bit soft with an inner core of wood so they sit nicely. You can tell they are best friends. Circa 1890
