This mid 19th century folk art crazy quilt is a wonderful mix of richly colored silks and hand embellished surface stitches. The back is a green cotton sateen fabric tied with floss. Eighty seven silk tags create a whimsical border around the entire piece. An extremely rare triple series opaque twist (TSOT) English glass wine goblet. The capacious round funnel bowl is above a stem that has a pair of 8 ply spiral bands outside of a central solid spiral core surrounded by a spiral gauze. This configuration, with 3 distinct twists, is so uncommon that L. M. Bickerton, in his classic book, did not even address the question of triple series opaque twists.

A fine and stately Dutch armorial wine goblet engraved with the arms of Hohenlohe. The thistle bowl of this glass shows two leopards passant within a crowned shield surrounded by fronds. A narrow band of engraving encircles the rim. The heavy bottom of the bowl has an enclosed tear, as does the huge inverted baluster knop below the bowl. The foot is domed and folded, with a rough snapped pontil.

A very rare set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons in the "Holly & Mistletoe" pattern by Tiffany & Co. This is a more ornate variant of the company's more common "Holly" pattern. The handles are decorated on both sides with holly and mistletoe foliage and mistletoe berries. The elongated bowls have notched shoulders and are parcel-gilt. The spoons are fully hallmarked and have the date letter used 1873-91. The spoons are presented in an old Tiffany flatware bag.

The round funnel bowl features an oval cartouche with a pair of clasped hands, reaching out of clouds, in front of a blazing heart, all of this backed by rays of sunshine. The cartouche is surrounded by fulsomely engraved elaborate scrolls, foliage, and groups of flowers, all highlighted by superb polished details. The reverse of the glass is inscribed with 'T GOED SUCCES VAN 'T HOUWELYK.

A spectacular Chelsea porcelain covered porringer. This wonderful piece is profusely decorated, even on the inside of the bowl, with butterflies, moths, other insects, and flowers. A veritable rainbow of colors was used in the enameling. The finial on the lid is a naturalistically molded rose with hues of reds and pinks, and the handles are painted with a distinct bluish green. The underside has the Chelsea red anchor mark and displays the stilt marks indicative of Chelsea.

A wonderful American folk art mourning portrait painting of a young child, done by Horace Bundy. Although unsigned by him, virtually all the characteristics that indicate such an attribution are present. A superbly constructed copper weathervane of a three masted barque ship. The details and accuracy of this ship vane are amazing, with its multiple sails and rigging. This fine example was previously part of the collection at the Texaco world headquarters.

This porcelain covered box was produced in France by Tressemann and Vogt Limoges around 1900. The box was sold white-ware and painted by a studio artist. It measures 7 inches in diameter and is 3 1/2 inches high. There is a portrait of a lady in a fancy hat, surrounded by pink roses and raised gilding.
