This is a great 1890 mohair cat that stands nicely on its own. He has about 70% of his mohair. He has a loved face with a bit of a pushed up nose. I think he is a Steiff but is without a button. He is 13" long and 9" tall to the top of his head.

A well proportioned and elegant baluster wine glass dating from the period of George I. This fine example features a trumpet bowl over a collar directly over an annulated knop. The stem leads into a true baluster knop over a short section over a folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no issues and with good color, tooling marks, and striations. The height is 5 7/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

A rare English soft paste porcelain copy of a Ko Imari Kinrande Kikugata Bowl with janome, bulls eye base. This class of porcelain in Japan is usually attributed to the late Edo period, c.1750-1780. A superb pair of bronze candlesticks from the Jockey Club de Paris. The candlesticks’ trefoil bases are decorated with riding equipment and tackle interspersed with the rosettes awarded to race winners. The edges of the bases are finished with borders that suggest horseshoes. Slender columns rise to a central element featuring three fully three-dimension horseheads capped by a spiraling ribbon engraved “Jockey Club”. An elegant antique hand chased sterling silver pen tray, having a rectangular body with rounded ends, a fluted border. and a vacant central oval cartouche. Made in London it is hallmarked and dates 1896. This fine tray measures 7.5 inches long.

Ornate sterling silver meat serving fork featuring a heavily scrolled handle with matte-gilt, bright-cut tines. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Many late 19th century silver makers did not otherwise mark their wares.

A fine multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) wine glass. The flared bell bowl surmounts a stem that has the rare feature of a vermiform collar. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil. 6 inches in height, with a bowl diameter of 2 9/16 inches, and an extremely generous foot diameter of 3 1/8 inches. Perfect condition.

A beautiful, green-cut-to-clear vase, made by either Moser or Thomas Webb. The vase is decorated with beautiful art nouveau decor. Except for some minute nicks toward the bottom (see second-last picture), the vase is in excellent condition. There is a catalog/exhibition number on the vase's bottom, which means that the vase used to be a museum display piece. The vase is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall and 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide at the top. A marvelous pair of Dresden or Old Paris porcelain candlesticks with carefully painted cherubs holding to each nozzle while upholding while perched on stumps. A wonderful set of six Victorian silverplate napkin rings. The outsides are decorated with two cherubs grasping baroque reserves framed with swirls of acanthus leaves, pendant bellflowers and other ornate decorative devices. The insides are brightly gilt. This porcelain plate was produced in England by Coalport in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked, but from the shape of the blank and the type of decoration we can attribute it to Coalport. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It has a cobalt blue border that is accented with French enamel. There are sprays of hand painted flowers in bright colors around the center of the plate. A Large Sterling Silver Gorham "King George " (1894) Roast Carving Set. The Fork is 11", the Knife is 14.5" and the Sharpener is 13.75". The pin on the holding mechanism on the fork is slightly loose, but overall in very good condition.

Statue of a traditional god, probably representing Kuan Ti or Kuan Yu, God of War, in formal garb, with a martial posture, sitting on a throne. Wood, with traces of the original gilding. Remnants of animal hair under nose and chin, to represent mustache and beard. At the back of the statue, the votive box is till closed. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Height: 22.7 cm. Abrasion due to age, right arm partly missing, otherwise good condition.

Small Christ in cast bronze, traces of gilding. French medieval 13th century. The bronze has a beautiful old patina, there is very little gilding left. He wears a loincloth and an Egyptian headdress. A stylized flower appears to be drawn on his belly. It was mounted on a gilded wooden frame probably in the 18th century. Height of Christ alone 95mm. A lovely cut glass perfume bottle cut from cranberry to clear. The design incorporates wide miters separated by combinations of fans, strawberry diamond and star motifs. The shoulders of the bottle are panel cut, and the base is finished with a 24-point star. The lapidary-cut stopper is original to the bottle and is engraved with the same number as the inside of the bottle's neck.

A nice early Staffordshire pottery child's cup decorated with a transfer scenes of children playing leap frog on one side and "peg top" on the other. The black transfer is highlighted with red overglaze enamel. The cup is accented with a molded foot and a strap handle. Teh glaze has the slight bluish tint found in Staffordshire pottery of this period.
