This porcelain dish was produced in France in the late 19th century. It has an underglaze mark that says Limoges, France but there is no factory name. This is a well washed and loved red calico doll quilt. It is mostly treadle machine stitched with some hand sewing. The backing is a brown and cream calico print with a brown calico boarder on both front and back. It is very soft, faded a couple of tiny holes that gives it that great old worn look. This is my kind of quilt, old and worn and I realize it is not for everyone.
It is 16" square and is from the 1890's with a Pennsylvania verbal history. (I love it.)

There are ribs molded in the porcelain toward the middle of the plate. It is completely hand painted in a pattern reminiscent of Meissen’s Blue Onion.

The beaker very attractive and with a partucularly fine dotted decoration of the body, initialized with the letters PRS:OBL and the dating 1706 below, all in a round medallion. There's two other medallions with floral engravings in symethric intervals on the body.

Edwardian sterling silver covered urn. Made by William Comyns in London in 1908. Bowl has straight sides and curved bottom with leaf-capped and wrapped s-scroll side handles and stepped inset foot.
