Offered is this beautiful Bohemian Moser glass dish with tooled-rim. The dish is 6 inches (15 cm) wide. The dish is made on an aqua-to-clear glass blank. It has a polished pontil and is in very good condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser - according to Gary Baldwin, tooled rims of the type present on this dish, "to date, have only been found on Moser decorated glass" (reference: page 85 of his book, 'Moser Artistic Glass Edition Two').

This glass jug was produced in Bohemia by Josephinenhutte around 1895.  It was probably decorated by Fritz Heckert.  The jug measures 8 1/2 inches tall.  The stretch type glass is hand blown with an applied handle.  It is hand decorated with raised enamels in Middle Eastern style.  It is a handsome example of Bohemian art glass. This is a 19th century sterling silver sugar caster made by Shreve Crump & Low Co. highly regarded and well known silver smiths. The height of the caster is 5” and the diameter at the widest is 3”. The caster is fully hallmarked and also engraved on the bottom with three initials and a date 7.29.1894.

This miniature porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1880s. The saucer is 3 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The set is hand painted in the Meissen style. There are alternating panels of yellow with flowers and scenes of lovers in gardens. The set is trimmed with lacy gilding. A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.

The set is hand painted in fine detail. There are scenes of lovers in landscapes surrounded by garlands of colorful flowers. The rims are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: The rim of the cup has slight fading to the gilding mentioned for accuracy. It is hardly noticeable.

This three piece demitasse cup, saucer and plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 4 1/4 inches, and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup has a split twig handle. All of the pieces have little pointed edges. It is decorated with tiny scattered flowers. They are brightly colored. All of the pieces are trimmed in gold. Condition: Excellent. This is first quality Meissen porcelain.

A nice South Jersey glass paperweight with a frit “Home Sweet Home” design. The motif features a log cabin with puffs of smoke coming out of the chimney, surrounded by the “Home Sweet Home” legend and a laurel wreath bough at the bottom. The top is cut with a single printy. The bottom is flat and polished, without the incised ring that appears around the periphery of many South Jersey weights.

This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was produced by a Bohemian glass manufacturer. It is unsigned. The glass is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the bowl is 4 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown and the stem is hand cut. The decoration is raised enamel gilding. Very rare Staffordshire pottery child's plate with an ABC rim surrounding a hand-colored transfer print of a railroad steam engine emerging from a tunnel. The plate is very colorful and is highly desirable because of the train decoration.

This brush was made by the well-known Gorham Manufacturing Company. The design looks like the top of an antique steamer chest, with a Steampunk-like strapping-and-stud motif. A terrific folding paper knife, the body covered in the colorful “Caledonia” tartan. The blade is carved from bone and has a locking mechanism just as any other pocket knife would have. These are sometimes called fruit knives, but I’m reasonably certain they were intended for use as paper knives or letter openers. Impressive Early American Pattern Glass water goblet with frosted foot and stem concluding in 3 lion's heads. The base of the goblet bowl is formed with six panels and the sides are clear, flaring slightly as the sides rise to the rim. Condition of the glasses is excellent with no chips or cracks.
