Rare Antique Blue Willow ironstone sugar caster (shaker) with typical transfer decoration. Mid 19th Century Height: 4 ½”

Fabulous Berlin iron ring decorated what appears to be agricultural tools, including a scythe. The band has a floral motif. It is possible the ring was owned by a landowner farmer...

A very nice hammered brass jardiniere from Russia's Imperial era. The vessel is raised on cast lion's paw feet and is flanked by ring handles grasped in cast lion's heads. The jardiniere is constructed in the traditional manner with seamed joints and a rolled lip. The bottom is stamped with the Imperial Romanov double-headed eagle.

Origin: Russia, ca. 1880. Condition: excellent, a few very small dings (difficult to see on the hammered surface). Size: 6-1/4" tall; 6-3/8" diameter.

English Wedgwood Green Jasper ware Creamer, 2 1/2" high with beautifully detailed applied white classical Figures on Bisque finished Green background, impressed mark "Wedgwood" "England" on the bottom. Very tiny frit on the rim.

A Meissen porcelain cream pot and cover circa 1745 with a pine cone finial. The under glaze hand painted pattern is a variation on the Meissen onion pattern. The crossed sword mark is loosely painted in under glaze blue with an extra dot that is sometimes found on early pieces. Height is approximately 5 ½ inches (14cm). Width from spout to handle is approximately 5 ¾ inches (14.6cm).

Condition: There are firing flaws where the feet attach to the pot. No chips, cracks, or repairs...

A lovely pair of Royal Crown Derby vases in the Old Imari pattern. In excellent condition with very little wear to the gold except on the ears and mouth rim. No chips, no hairlines, no repairs. They measure 6.5" high. Dates 1877-1890.

A thinly potted eggshell porcelain cup and two saucers. Enameled decoration of scrolls, Phoenix birds and temples in soft pastel shades. Arita, Japan, Edo period. Marked Zoshuntei (= shop), Sanpo Zo (made), for the factory of Hisatomi Yojibei Masatsune (1842 – 1870). Hisatomi was one of the first potters in Japan to be allowed to put his factory name on pieces intended for export from Arita. Offered is this pair of hand-painted, elephant-handled, ormolu-mounted vases (the vases have been drilled at their bottoms, and as such, could be used for either displaying dry flowers or as lamp bases), made around 1890. Each one is 15 3/4 inches (40 cm) tall and 9 3/4 inches (25 cm) wide. They are in excellent condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (there is age-appropriate tarnishing of the metal and fading of the paint)...

An uncommon heavy baluster wine glass with a strong presence and stance. The flared bell bowl has a trapped air tear in the bottom, while the stem has an extremely large ball knop with a large tear. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil. Height is 6 1/2 inches, with a bowl diameter of 3 inches and a foot diameter of 3 inches (not trimmed)...

Victorian sterling silver baby cup. Made by George John Richards in London in 1853. Baluster bowl with leaf-capped double-scroll handle and scrolled skirted foot. Embossed vegetation clusters in engraved leafing scroll frames; a third frame vacant. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Edwardian Modern Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1907. Bombe form. Curved and overhanging mouth with lip spout and cylindrical bowl; round and stepped foot and c-scroll handle. Acid-etched ornament: Meandering ivy on mouth and handle and half-fluting on bowl. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 16867B (first produced in 1907), director’s letter m, and volume (5 1/2 pts). Very good condition.

Fine Childs Plate, the centre printed with the name John, the finely moulded border decorated with bright Pratt type colours. The base impressed ROGERS. C1840. Diameter 5 1/4" (13.4 cm). Condition: excellent, there is some staining to the underside.

A fine and early Bow porcelain Blanc de Chine thinly potted chocolate or coffee cup with raised prunus blossoms.

Excellent condition with no cracks, losses or restoration. Compared to the usual height of Bow coffee cups of this form and period, which is approximately 2 9/16", the example offered here is 5/8" taller, at 3 3/16". The bowl diameter is 3". A superb and rare piece.

A stoneware dinner plate with a shaped edge transfer printed in light blue with an elaborate floral border on the lip and an equally elaborate alpine view with flowers and chalet in the well. On the back a floral cartouche with the title, “Genevese” in the center and “Opaque China” on the lower edge with a script capital “A.” This pattern was made by Minton with the letter “M,” this plate was probably made by them with a different letter. English circa 1830...

A beautiful Bow shallow bowl painted in the famille rose manner with rockwork, bamboo, flowers and foliage. Purchased over 15 years ago and retaining the label of Mercury Antiques, a well-known and respected London porcelain dealer.

Superb condition with bright paint and no chips, cracks, restoration, or paint loss. The diameter is 7 7/8".

Two door panels from a Greek portable shrine. Early 19th century. Showing five saints with traces of gilding on a wooden base. 25x9cm Currently mounted on antique green velvet under glass in separate golden wood frames.

Pretty late Victorian porcelain child's cup. One side has a polychrome transfer image of a playful dog, while the other shows another dog with a blue ribbon around his neck. The rim and handle are decorated with gilt bands. Porcelain cups such as these were prized by Victorian children. The bottom is marked "Germany".

Origin: Germany, ca 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, light wear to gilding at rim. Size: 2-3/16" tall.

It is unusual to find such a striking multi-colored basket of such size and in such wonderful condition. The splint basket, with its wooden handle, is from the Northeast area of the United States, and is done in shades of blue-green, orange-red, and brown.

The basket is 18" long, 12" wide, and 14 " to the top of the handle. Overall condition is excellent, with only one splint split on the interior, not visible from the outside.

A sweet diminutive Continental .800 silver solitaire size three-piece tea set in the French style, comprised of a a stylized square shape teapot, creamer and covered sugar bowl, all on raised feet,made by Jakob Storck & Louis Sinsheimer, Hanau, Germany c.1874-1926. Each piece has exquisite repousee work comprised of three centered Putti playing in a garden, surrounded by a scrolled border of cherubs, floral and ribbon swags. Acanthus leaf handles decorate all three pieces...

A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.

A mulberry transfer English Staffordshire plate in the Athens pattern by William Adams & Sons made c. 1850. The inking is crisp and sharp, even on the backside as evidenced by the clear registry mark. The shape has 14 edges. Adams was one of the longest lived potters in England, operating as late as the 1990s.
