A rare and elegant first period Dr. Wall Worcester cream boat. This thinly potted superb example is of vertical faceted form with a double C-scroll handle with a raised thumb rest, and is painted in blue in the Prunus Root pattern. The gnarled root depicted has flowering branches trailing around the rim and small insects, the bottom with workman mark "IH".

Pristine condition with no issues at all. Clear, non-blurred painting...

A Sevres porcelain cup and saucer from the Second Empire (1852-1870) painted with flower garlands with a gilt scallop border and monogrammed with what appear to be the initials A.D. Diameter of saucer is approximately 4 ½ inches (10.2cm) and height of cup approximately 2 ½ inches (5.1cm).

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Delicately painted rose garlands and the high quality porcelain create a pleasingly pretty set.

A Staffordshire Sugar and Creamer in the Chinoiserie fashion. There is a design inside the sugar bowl which complements the outer design. There is a design in the lip of the creamer as well as outside the creamer. A fine Derby porcelain dish painted by Zachariah Boreman, marked on the reverse with a blue crowned "D" and pattern number 343. The kidney-shaped dish has a beautiful soft green wide border with a gilded edge. The white ground within the green border has elaborate drape and swag gilding on the outside edge, and gilded foliage surrounding the kidney shaped cartouche in the center. The cartouche has a scene identified on the reverse as Solfatara, Italy...

A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

Lovely pair of Italian Porcelain Capo di Monte amphoras. The exquisite scenaries are painted by hand.The seal is located at the bottom of each amphora. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" seal above the crown.

A small maiolica teapot and cover hand painted with rural scenes dominated by a tree in the foreground on either side. On the sides with the spout and the handle the decoration is the sky with birds. The predominant colors are green, yellow, blue and brown with some orange and a deep not very clear purple...

A Wedgwood stoneware deep blue "Jasperware" milk jug decorated in traditional neo-classical style and made in England between the years 1891 and 1908. Condition - very good - no damages and no repairs. 12cm (4.6 inches) high...

Panelled and diaper molded border picked out in blue and green, handpainted and signed "P. Vissier", and dated 1769. The plate has two labels, one from the Newman collection, and the other from the Harriet Carlton Goldweitz collection, considered one of the finest English pottery collections of the last 25 years. 9 5/8 inches in diameter, superb condition with deep, vibrant color, and no chips, cracks, or restoration.

A pair of dry drug jars decorated with blue leaves top and bottom and the drug name in the middle, all over a light grayish blue glaze. This form is typical of the 18th century Italian drug jars. The hand throwing on a wheel is evident on the glazed interior of both jars. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches diameter, (18.5 cm tall, 12 cm diameter).

Condition; Both have chips on the base and roughness from throwing on the mouth. Both have later marking on the base with a magic marker.

From our European Porcelain Collection, an important and historically significant Meissen armorial plate, ex-Sotheby's, from the Munchhaussen family dinner service gifted by Augustus III to Gerlach Adolf von Munchhaussen in 1745. The decoration is executed in puce with gilt highlights, painted in the "fabletier" style of mythical beasts set against a landscape of birds and insects, all set beneath the Munchhaussen family coat of arms with a foliate scroll border on the rim...

A well made 18th century Italian dry drug jar. The body is a red clay covered with white slip then painted in blue with a dentil style pattern at the top and bottom with the name of the drug in the central section. The inside is similarly covered in white slip and shows the ridges from being turned on a potter’s wheel...
