A group of pink lusterware made by Allerton, Staffordshire: slop bowl, two cups and three saucer bowls, all decorated with the Dahlia flowers typical of Charles Allerton & Sons, c 1860-70. Pattern numbers (?) 22, 707 and 701. Diameter of slop bowl "5½ / 14 cm, height of cups "2 ½ / 6.5 cm, diameter of saucers c. "5½ / 14 cm. Condition: wear to part of the decoration, nick to the foot rim of the slop bowl, one saucer with a hairline (cf. pics).

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton before 1920. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with swags of tiny rose buds. The surface of the cup and saucer is covered with tiny pale green enamel beads reminiscent of Coalport. This porcelain vase on stand was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letter indicates this year. It vase stands 5 7/8” high and is 5 ¾” across the handles. The piece appears to be in two pieces, the bowl on the top and a stand on the bottom but is it made in one piece. The Asian inspired shape and design evolved from the Aesthetic movement. An Austrian Puss In Boots handpainted cup & saucer circa 1900. This Arts and Crafts era Austrian handpainted 2-5/8" tall demitasse cup and matching 4-1/2" saucer depicts Puss in Boots walking on a country road with a windmill, trees and hills in the background. A fine and early English saucer showing a Chinese man with a bird. Done in blue and white, lot 303 of the Bonham's sale of the famous and important Watney collection showed this same pattern and identified it as being William Reid porcelain.

The saucer is in excellent condition and is 4 7/8" in diameter.

NOTE: William Reid & Co. were porcelain makers in Liverpool between 1756-61. Their factory was situated on Brownlow Hill where a bone-ash porcelain was produced.

SOLD Porcelain underglaze blue painted dinner plate decorated in a direct steal from Worcester with the “pine cone” pattern. The form of the plate is slightly different than the Worcester form but design and border are a close copy. Worcester is done with a transfer prints whereas this plate is hand painted and the porcelain is hard paste as opposed to soft paste. Since the pattern being copied is from around 1780 this plate is probably circa 1790...

Twelve(12) English Wedgwood Game Plates, Pink Octagon shape, colorful Pheasants in the center on the crazed white glazed center bordered by pink wide rim, 8 1/4" to 8 3/4" wide, marked "Imperial Porcelain, Wedgwood & Co, England" in green, and also impressed mark "Wedgwood, England" with numbers.
