A Spode soup plate in their Cracked ice and Prunus pattern, with inspiration from the blue and white Chinese pattern from the Kangxi period. Black transfer printed cracked ice border and flowers in polychrome enamels and gilt. Printed and impressed Spode marks for c 1820-30. The pattern is known as number 3950 (not visible on this piece). Diameter “9 ¾ /24,5 cm. Condition: slight wear to the well and back.

An extremely rare and striking Derby chocolate cup and saucer of very unusual form. The bell-shaped cup has an undulating rim and a flat ear-shaped pierced handle. It is painted in famille verte enamels with leaves and flowers positioned in compartments bordered in an iron red. The saucer is decorated in a similar fashion.
As rare as the cup is, according to several sources the saucer is much more so, and has rarely been offered at auction...

A superb and early spread base mug example of the Worcester "Walk in the Garden" pattern. Although Branyan, in his book "Worcester Blue and White Porcelain 1751 - 1790" indicates the date range for this pattern to be 1755 to 1765, the lovely pale grayish-blue color of the decoration and the presence of a scratch cross mark on the base would place manufacture of this mug (or tankard) several years earlier, making this a truly exceptional piece...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890's. The shield mark is under the glaze in a blue green used in the 19th century. This porcelain basket was produced in Tettau, Bavaria by Royal Bayreuth in the 1890s. It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches wide. The exterior of the basket has a molded tapestry texture. It is decorated with a transfer design of roses in various colors. The handle and base are reticulated. A “pearl-like” finish is used in these areas. R.S. Prussia used similar finishes on their wares. There are gold trim and gilded accents on the handle and rims.

The transfer surrounded by a brown/red raised band then hand painted purple flowers, green leaves, and red buds.
