Porcelain beaker decorated in transfer and polychrome enamels with scenes of Louisville, Kentucky. The scenes include "Thomas Jefferson Statue & Court House", "Entrance to Cave Hill Cemetary", and "Post Office & Custom House". These glasses were made in Austria, Bohemia and Germany from the 1890's until World War I. We are also offering similar glasses featuring Boston, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton before 1920. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with swags of tiny rose buds. The surface of the cup and saucer is covered with tiny pale green enamel beads reminiscent of Coalport. There is gold trim on the handle and rims of each piece. There is some wear to the thin gold band around the bottom of the cup...

Figural hand painted faience hatpin holder of a Danish boy by Aluminia Royal Copenhagen. Measures 7.25 inches high, 3" at widest, 2.5" diameter at base. Excellent antique condition with one chip at bake side of base. Dates 1910 and a very rare find!

This two piece porcelain bowl with underplate was produced in the United States by Pickard around 1910. The underplate has a diameter of 10 1/8 inches and the bowl is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. There is a gold leaf covering the mark from the porcelain manufacturer with the Pickard mark on it. The set is octagonal shaped. It is hand painted with delicate pink roses and gilded flourishes. There is embossed gold trim on each piece...

Lenox Porcelain Gold Rim Soup Plate, Ca. 1920, 8 1/2" diameter, 1 3/8" high, marked "Lenox, Made Expressly for Ovington Bros. New York" in green and 7/J.33 in Gold above green mark. The condition is good. This one(1) soup plate will match with #1405843 below.

Ceramic or porcelain, this is a shallow bowl that might have been used for serving foods, measuring at the extreme dimensions 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" by 2" deep. The central design of flowers is hand painted, as is, I think, the gold decoration. As a paintings specialist this is not within my expertise, so I hope to be describing it correctly...

8 Tiffany, N. Y. mark English Mintons Dinner Plates, 1920, 10 1/4" diameter, encrusted brilliant gold Vine decoration with bright Lemon color border rim. Marking on the bottom "Mintons" under the crown, "Tiffany & Co. New York", and also numbers show 8588.." but not very clear. The condition is very good.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1912. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The set is made of high quality bone china. It is decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern. The decoration is hand painted and ornately gilded. The decoration on the cup and saucer is bold and vivid. There is some slight wear in the well of the saucer. This cup and saucer is in otherwise excellent condition.

Twelve(12) Tiffany retailed English Mintons Porcelain Dinner Plates, Ca. 1912-1950, 10 1/4" diameter, Burgundy wine color with encrusted raised Gold border and pale Lemon color wide rim. Marked "Mintons Tiffany & Co. New York, Made in England" on the bottom with raised purple color glove. The condition is good.

Porcelain Mustache Cup and Saucer, Ca. before 1920, saucer-6" diameter, cup 2 1/4" high, small ledge to stop the hair get wet, Pink Rose painted on the low relief Rose pattern design on the outside the cup and the saucer, within inside the Scalloped edge gold rim, marked "V" in gold on the bottom. The condition is good.

Lovely 3-tier chintz cake stand in a unknown pattern. The bottom of each piece is marked in blue/green "B/Royal Tudor Ware/Barker Bros. L'td/England" along with a crown. The stem is brass. The whole stand is approximately 12-1/2" tall. The plates are approximately 10", 8" and 6" in diameter. Mint condition--even the gilding around the edges of the plates. Ca. 1920's.

Brown banko ware teapot, Japan, late Meiji / early Showa. Unglazed, with the exception of the rim and the top of the handle hooks, some gilt to the molded decoration of a dragon and a lion dog. All handmade, with thumb marks to base and rim of lid. Height including lid "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: no bamboo handle, otherwise fine.

Porcelain heavy Mustache Cup and Saucer, Ca. before 1920's, saucer-7" diameter, cup-3 1/4" high, cup or mug decorated with raised low relief letter "Present" in gold and black with Gold Wheat design on top, Gold Prim Rose and leafy vines on the saucer, some of the design are worn gold, mark "43" in gold on the bottom. The condition is good.

Baluster vase with Flambé glaze in red, green and black, where the lighter parts are crackeled and the black is close to mirror black. San-Yang Kai-Tai or transmutation glazed, representing the change of seasons, from winter into spring. China, early 20th century, Republic period. The vase was purchased in Brussels in the 90's from an old Chinese couple who brought it to Europe when they left China in their youth. Height "7 ¼ / 18.5 cm...

Beautifully decorated with Gold and Silver Butterfly and Foliage Demitasse Cup and Saucer, Ca. 1920, 4" diameter-saucer, 2" high-cup with four(4) small feet, overlay gold and silver floral foliage designed spread out on the outer side and gold twisted handle. Marked number "407" in red on the bottom. The condition is good.

12 English Cauldon Ltd Porcelain Dinner Plates, circa 1920, 10 1/4" diameter, high quality hand decorated with encrusted raised Gold rim, pink Rose floral design between gold Peacock and Feather decoration, "Cauldon Ltd, England, L. 5414" marked on the bottom. The condition is very good.

Sixteen(16) English Cauldon Porcelain Gold Band Dessert or Salad Plates(8" diameter), faceted gold leafy design. Retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink on the bottom. Some scratch marks on the gold band area, one(1) tight hairline from the rim about 3/4" long, all other plates are in good condition.
