Large vase by Roger Guerin, circa 1920, offered in excellent condition. This vase measures 7 1/4" in height and 7" at its widest. An impressive bulbous vase with horizontal striations on the bottom 2/3 of the vessel. It is signed "Guerin" and inscribed "M 30" for form and size. This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect. Brushed gold is used to accent the candle holders in many areas....

A stunning hand painted porcelain bowl with a gold trimmed scalloped rim was made by the Tressemann & Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907. Artist signed, the design, use of gold throughout, and selection of colors from the rich royal blue band with contrasting orange flowers to the band of blush along the rim is just fabulous.
