This porcelain basket was produced in Tettau, Bavaria by Royal Bayreuth in the 1890s. It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches wide. The exterior of the basket has a molded tapestry texture. It is decorated with a transfer design of roses in various colors. The handle and base are reticulated. A “pearl-like” finish is used in these areas. R.S. Prussia used similar finishes on their wares. There are gold trim and gilded accents on the handle and rims.

This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. Very good Staffordshire pottery inkwell in the form of a country cottage beside a tree populated by a mother bird and her nest of young. A Dalmatian watches the birds from the ground. The cushion base is accented with a gilt line.

This porcelain and sterling silver tea pot was produced in Trenton, New Jersey by Lenox around 1906. The pot measures 9 ½” from handle to spout and 6 ¼” high including the lid. The lid locks into the pot. The photos show the porcelain being a bit off white, but it is actually more ivory colored, more so than the average Lenox piece. Fantastic pottery double-handled urn decorated in an underglaze blue floral transfer and clobbered with overglaze iron red, yellow and purple pigments. The effect is much like chintz china, but with stronger coloring. The bottom bears the mark used by Cauldon Potteries from 1905 to 1920. The form and size of this vase, combined with its rich coloring, makes for a truly stunning piece of Staffordshire pottery.

These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. Tall dramatic handles are attached to the vase. Rich cobalt blue panels alternate with white ground spaces each having simple floral embellishments surrounded by gilded swirls and scrolls. Heavy gilding is used throughout on these elegant ewers made c. 1895. The condition is very good except for a possible but well done repair ...
