A fine porcelain cup and deep saucer decorated with hand painted birds sitting on braches near the ground. The cup and saucer are also decorated with randomly placed puce sprigs. Unmarked, but numerous examples of similar birds with puce sprigs are on marked Ansbach pieces. Saucer 5 ¼ inches (13.4 cm) diameter. Cup 4 inches (10 cm) diameter including the handle, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) without it. Cup 2 inches (5 cm) tall.

An oval and domed porcelain plaque with enamelled flowers in a gilt and Bleu Céleste framework. The ”heavenly blue” colour was a speciality for Sevres in the 18th century and revived in the 19th during the reign of Napoléon III. The gilt flower wreath is tooled, to show the texture of the little flower petals, and the large flower motif is excellently painted. French Limoges Porcelain Fluted large three(3) divided section deep Serving Dish with heavily gilded wide handle and gilded scalloped edge rim by GDA(Gerard Dufraisseix & Abbot), 4" high include handle, 12 3/4" wide across, sprigs of floral decoration inside the three(3) Shell shape deep serving bowls to help serving different kind of food or dips, supported by high foot bottom. Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.

A set of twelve Dutch delft wall tiles of a hand painted blue basket of fruit inside a square with a white square behind it at 45 degrees with the same orientation as the tile with its manganese ground. Rare pair of Staffordshire earthenware figurines of whippets. Each dog poses over a rabbit he has brought to the master of the hunt. The cushion bases are decorated with a simple gilt line.

Origin: England, circa 1850. Condition: excellent, a tiny bit of glaze roughness on the tip of one nose, blacklight examination indicates no repairs or repainting. Size: 3-7/8" tall.

Teacups – six plus one - and saucers from Staffordshire with moulded borders, made of porcelain around 1825 and possibly by H & R Daniels. The pattern is numbered 766 and consists of little blue flowers or leaves growing from meandering sprouts in green, with minimal red shoots from them. Measures: height of cups "2/ 5.7 cm, diameter "4/ 10.5 cm and of saucers"6/ 15 cm. The seventh cup with a slightly different handle and no border moulding. Condition of all pieces: fine.

SOLD An elaborately molded high handled sauceboat decorated with blue transfer flowers and blue transfer border on the interior top edge. There is a large amount of kiln ash in the glaze. 5 ¾ inches (14.5 cm) long, 3 ¼ inches (8 cm) tall and 2 ¾ inches (6.5 cm) wide.

Condition; Hairline crack where the handle joins the body and another short one on the left side just behind the first bump traveling back toward the handle. As mentioned earlier there is plenty of ash in the glaze...

A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.
