Very nice Chinese export porcelain tea pot in Canton decoration. The slightly tapered drum-shaped body is decorated with typical Canton scenes of islands, bridges, boats, etc. and is accented with a raincloud border along the top edge. The lid, spout and handle are also decorated with typical motifs. The color is very nice with terrific clarity and depth. Likewise, the body is of nice color.

Hand painted in dark underglaze blue with a serrated rim this large bowl is soft paste porcelain. The decoration of a Chinese arrangement of flowers and twining plants is typical of Tournai. Height 4.5 inches (11 cm) and 11 inches (28 cm) diameter. Late 18th century.

Condition: no chips, cracks or repairs. Some scratches to the interior of the bowl and small flaw in the body of the bowl.

This style of decoration was popular at the time and still looks excellent today.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. The beehive marking is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The cup features a pedestal base and a graceful loop handle. There is a cartouche on the front of the cup containing a hand painted scene of a beautiful woman and cupid with surrounding landscape. This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by the Donath Dresden Studio in the 1890s. It is 9 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches across the handles. The vase has a unique shape with rococo style feet, handles and molded relief. Every inch is filled with delightful details. American Art and Crafts Period Rookwood Vase, a perfect compliment to your Arts and Crafts bungalow, Frank Lloyd Wright would be pleased. This is the second largest size in this mold; the vase stands 12 1/8 inches (31 cm) tall. Vases larger than 10 inches are uncommon for Rookwood. Glazed in Oxblood red with green highlights on the rim. Vase has impressed RP flame mark with VII below, and an impressed 951 B. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1907

A stunning Chelsea-Derby tea bowl and saucer, finely painted in puce monochrome with scattered floral sprays and sprigs, reserved on a ground of closely packed gilded spirals. The interior of the bowl is painted with a puce rose and leaves. Both pieces are marked with a gold anchor.

Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Minor gilding wear to the extreme rim edges. The height of the bowl is is 1 7/8", and the diameter is 3 1/8", while the saucer diameter is 5".

A fine matched pair of ceramic recumbent lions of molded construction having maize yellow ware enamel. The careful observer will note that the lions are not a mirror match, but they complement each other and were most likely produced this way. While the condition of the lions is less than pristine, having minor enamel losses and one minor chip as shown in the photos, we believe that serious collectors will appreciate the earliness and uniqueness of these ceramic lions...

A beautiful and elegant Derby covered chocolate cup and saucer. Decorated in cobalt blue, gilding, and heavily painted white dots to simulate pearls. Both the cup and saucer are marked with the puce crown and batons, which indicates a very desirable Derby period. The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. The ground color is salmon pink. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding.
