Cute Victorian porcelain baby's dish decorated with a very pretty transfer illustration of the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill". The decoration is sweetly sentimental. The rim is gilt "Baby". The bottom is marked "Germany".

A mulberry transfer English Staffordshire plate in the Athens pattern by William Adams & Sons made c. 1850. The inking is crisp and sharp, even on the backside as evidenced by the clear registry mark. The shape has 14 edges. Adams was one of the longest lived potters in England, operating as late as the 1990s.

Condition is Excellent.

An elaborately molded plate with three hand painted sprigs of flowers. The pattern is one that was made by CJ Mason circa 1825 in the rococo revival taste. 8 ½ inches diameter.

A molded porcelain figure of a man in 18th century dress turned slightly to his right to warm his hands over a flaming brazier, emblematic of winter. The figure is marked on the base with the underglaze blue “F.” for Furstenberg. It also has the impressed marks A.a.M for a later production of the model which has the impressed number 85. 7 3/8 inches (19 cm) tall.

Condition: excellent except for the amputation of the fingertips of the right hand.

A molded edge porcelain dessert serving dish, Spode circa 1814 with bat transferred fruit in the center. Pattern number 1686 hand painted on the bottom. Unmarked, but the distinctive border of twined dolphins alternating with a large plant (?) is a Spode design. The pattern of fruits is currently made by Spode and called “Chatham.” The border is set off with a band of gilding at the rim and the inside edge. The bat transfer is an unusual color, almost brown at some angles and gold at others...

A Victorian bisque double shell young boy figural mantle vase from the late 1800s. This 5-1/4" tall figurine is fully hand painted and of top quality - quite like the fineness of Schafer & Vater. It consists of a young boy with a hat seated between two shells. The vase is in a nice greenish/blue colour and it has lots of gold jewelling. It is unsigned except for a painted 74 and a faint impressed underglaze 524 (we think)...
