This is an extremely nice example of a Bow porcelain figure of winter from the "Rustic Seasons" group. It depicts an older man wearing a cowled garment, sitting on a mound of rocks, and warming his hands over a brazier. The brazier is set amidst flowers and leaves, with the whole scene raised on four scroll feet.

These 6 porcelain egg cups were produced in England by Minton in the mid 19th century. We have seen this pattern attributed to Minton in our research. The cups measure 2 inches high and the openings are 2 inches in diameter. The porcelain is unglazed white parian. The interiors of the cups are glazed. They are molded in high relief with lily pads, blossoms, and buds in fine detail. Condition: Excellent

A pair of large Chinese made and decorated porcelain serving plates for the Western market circa 1790. Good flowers painted in a complex design covering most of the surface. The square edge appears to be gilded with something more like bronzing powder than fire gilding. 11 1/8 inches (28.5 cm) diameter.

Condition: one with minor rim chips, minor stacking wear and some black firing spots. The other with a fairly significant rim chip and associated hairline.

A feather or shell edge plate beautifully enameled with scattered flowers in typical Rococo style. Late 18th century, made at the Royal Vienna Porcelain factory. Underglaze blue shield mark and painters mark in puce plus an impressed N, probably for Joseph Niedermeyer who was chief modeller 1747-1784. Diameter "9 ¾ / 24.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Twelve(12) English Wedgwood Game Plates, Pink Octagon shape, colorful Pheasants in the center on the crazed white glazed center bordered by pink wide rim, 8 1/4" to 8 3/4" wide, marked "Imperial Porcelain, Wedgwood & Co, England" in green, and also impressed mark "Wedgwood, England" with numbers. The gold around the rims are somewhat worn, no damage.

A nice Griffin, Smith & Hill majolica pitcher in the "Wild Rose" pattern. The bulbous sides are decorated with yellow wild rose blossoms and green foliage against a stippled ivory background. The base has a medium-blue basketweave pattern and the lip is finished in a reeded pattern in the same shade. The pitcher has an applied twig handle and a butterfly forms the pouring spout. Englisn Staffordshire Transferware Pottery Plate, Ca. 1850, 9 3/8" diameter, deers and cow resting under the big tree, and Cathedral in the far background, marked "Park Scenery, Phillips, Longport", glaze crackled, some mild stains on the back top area, no damages.

Very good Staffordshire pottery inkwell in the form of a country cottage beside a tree populated by a mother bird and her nest of young. A Dalmatian watches the birds from the ground. The cushion base is accented with a gilt line.

Origin: England, circa 1860. Condition: very good, normal glaze crazing; some ink discoloration to base, no chips or cracks. Size: 4-7/8" x 2-1/16" x 4-3/4" tall.

A waste bowl or slop bowl and a saucer bowl in the Yellow Shell pattern, c 1820. This very popular folk art or naïve style pattern was produced in many Staffordshire kilns in the early 19th century. It used to be attributed to New Hall, but as for the waste bowl recent English research leads us to the Machin kiln, because of the difference in detail. Lenox Porcelain Charger/ Platter, Ca. 1910, 12 1/4" diameter, 7/8" high, with etched Brilliant Gold and cobalt blue rim, green mark "Lenox" "Dulin & Martin Co. Washington DC" on the bottom. The condition is good.

A rare pair of apple green glazed candle holders designed by William Howson Taylor and made at the Ruskin Pottery works in Smethwick, near Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. Both candlesticks have an impressed 1908 datemark to the base. Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs. 16cm (6.3 inches) high; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) diameter at the base.

A fine Dr. Wall (First Period) Worcester pickle leaf dish in the "Pickle Leaf Vine" pattern, showing flowers and vines within a feuil-de-choix border, and with a workman's mark on the reverse. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, paint loss, or restoration. The white areas at places along the edge are light reflections. Length 3 1/4", and width 3 1/2".

It is made of the finest hard paste porcelain ever produced. It is expertly hand painted with a lovely spray of vividly colored flowers.
