These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. A pair of early Staffordshire figurines of eagles on vermicular or marble painted bases from 1820-1850. These well modelled heavily gilded 19thC English earthenware eagles are 7-3/4" tall. Both have tilted heads and back-stretched wings. They have purple, yellow and orange marble-like painting on the simple rectangular shape bases. The mustard yellow rocky perches have a blue flower. A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

A underglaze blue hand painted blue and white export plate depicting three sprigs of flowers enclosed in a lobed border with fleur- de-lis and on the outer border a loosely painted fence. Teacups – six plus one - and saucers from Staffordshire with moulded borders, made of porcelain around 1825 and possibly by H & R Daniels. The pattern is numbered 766 and consists of little blue flowers or leaves growing from meandering sprouts in green, with minimal red shoots from them. Measures: height of cups "2/ 5.7 cm, diameter "4/ 10.5 cm and of saucers"6/ 15 cm. The seventh cup with a slightly different handle and no border moulding. Condition of all pieces: fine.

Another wonderful offering of Vauxhall porcelain, this one a tea bowl and saucer, finely potted and painted in the highly desirable "sticky blue". The scene on both pieces features a pagoda and houses in the background, with a large rock in the foreground.

A French faience pot de crème / custard pot, c 1760, ribbed and decorated with flowers in petit feu enamels. The style of the decoration as well as the shape resembles that of Veuve Perrin, Marseille, but the signature, a monogrammed JR, indicates that the little pot originates from the manufacture of Joseph Robert, also in Marseille. Very rare, circa 1888, English tapestry ware biscuit jar with hand painted scenes of a pair of quail and a pair of herons in their appropriate settings. Cream cup, a pot de creme with molded borders and cherry knob, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white, made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Decoration of under-glaze blue flowers in the Ronda pattern. Ronda was the most popular of the Tournai patterns, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory was closed down. Under-glaze blue mark, swords and three little crosses for the second and third Tournai period. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: fine.

A pretty leaf shaped serving dish by Royal Copenhagen. Panted decoration of flowers, the twig handle with a rose and a forget-me-not flower in relief – the same as the handles used in the famous Flora Danica service. A delightful Bennington-type yellowware cow creamer with mottled brown glaze. The cow stands on a concave oval base. This example is more nicely potted than some, with good detailing in the ribcage area and a quirky facial expression. These creamers were made in both America and England, but the style of modelling suggests this is an American example. The tail has been reglued nicely, and a professional restorer could make the repair completely invisible.
