This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. It is made of bone china and has molded decorations and an ornate handle. The decoration is known as “Spanish Lace”. Fine gilding is accented with raised enamel beading and hand painted flowers. The pattern covers the entire surface of both pieces. The rims and handle are gilded. It has a unique shape and Victorian charm.

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1879. Hand painted birds are done by the artist John Hopewell. The date letter indicates this year. They are 8 ¼ “ tall, 3” wide and 4 ¾” across the handles. Asian styled handles and feet are an inspiration of the aesthetic movement. A raucous array of berries, butterflies, birds and flowers fill the space on all four sides of the vases...

A pair of molded edge porcelain dessert serving bowls, Spode circa 1814 with bat transferred fruit in the center. Pattern number 1686. Neither is marked, but the distinctive border of twined dolphins alternating with a large plant (?) is a Spode design. The pattern of fruits is currently made by Spode and called “Chatham.” The border is set off with a band of gilding at the rim and the inside edge. The bat transfer is an unusual color, almost brown at some angles and gold at others...

A William Ridgway “Oriental” green transfer printed platter with a vaguely Middle Eastern fantasy scene in the well surrounded by a border of alternating floral bouquets and Middle Eastern buildings against a sprigged green ground. A pair of hand painted English porcelain dessert serving dishes, probably Spode, lozenge shaped with lobes and decorated with floral sprays and sprigs in bright colors with gilt scalloped border and gilt floral design in the apexes. No marks on the base, but this form with the elegant gilding in the apexes is ascribed to Spode and from early in the 19th century. Length 10 ¼, width 7 ¼ and height 2 inches.
Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Almost no wear.

An extremely rare and striking Derby chocolate cup and saucer of very unusual form. The bell-shaped cup has an undulating rim and a flat ear-shaped pierced handle. It is painted in famille verte enamels with leaves and flowers positioned in compartments bordered in an iron red. The saucer is decorated in a similar fashion.
As rare as the cup is, according to several sources the saucer is much more so, and has rarely been offered at auction...

English "Derby" Ironstone Imari pattern heavy deep Well and Tree Platter, 21" long, 16 1/2" deep, with fluted edge in typical Imari colors-underglaze blue, overglaze iron red and gilded fluted border, the rim is about 3 1/2" wide with deep oval shape well and indented shape of tree on the deep bottom in the center.
