An exceptionally attractive transferware bowl in the Milanese Pavilion pattern having fruit and floral images around the rim while two elegantly attired ladies converse on the pavilion. The back stamp bears the J H & Co mark of Joshua Heath & Co and dates to c. 1840 While the bowl is visually magnificent, it has a 2 3/4" hairline crack for which we have drastically reduced the price and for which we would consider reasonable offers. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfields in 1881. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. The saucer measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is quatrefoil in shape. There are alternating panels of hand painted fruits and textured burgundy red. The fruits are painted in raised silver and gold enamels...

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Copelands China in the 1880s for the retailer J.E. Caldwell of Philadelphia. They measure 8 1/8 inches in diameter. The porcelain blanks are fluted and scalloped. The ground color is salmon pink. They are decorated with an elaborate pattern of raised enamel beads and intricate gilding. They are an example of the splendor of porcelain in the “Gilded Age”. These plates are exhibition worthy. Condition: Excellent

English porcelain teacup and teabowl featuring three fine transfer designs printed in a stunning magenta color that is so intense it almost takes on the appearance of pink luster. The teabowl is decorated with a scene entitled "Winchester College" and the cup has "Macduff's Castle" and "Berwick Salop [sp?]". The saucer is further decorated with two concentric rings around the edge and the cup has two matching rings around the inside lip...

A Masons Ironstone Oval Platter. A Magenta Ground, with Four Panels and Center of Chrysanthemums and Acanthus Leaves in a Vase on a Table. Mid 19th century; dimensions 11" long x 9" deep. Excellent condition

A Majolica Oval Serving Dish with a Banana Leaf Pattern. Dimensions; 12.25" long x 9" wide. Circa 1890; condition is very good except for a hairline on underside.

A 19th Century Staffordshire Earthenware Jug depicting Admiral Nelson. There is a similar example in the collection of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 28.6cm (11.25inches) high.

Fine Larger Childs Plate, the centre printed with the name George, the finely moulded border decorated with bright Pratt type colours. The base impressed ROGERS. C1840. Diameter 7 3/16" (18.2 cm). Condition: excellent, there is some staining to the underside.

A Pair of Doulton Lambeth Candlesticks. The base is incised with the Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark. They are Clay colored with Applied Decoration in Cream and Light Blue. The height is 6.25" and they date from c. 1895. They are in excellent condition.

Stoneware jar in the form of an orange with the registry mark for F & R Pratt of Fenton for 1878 on the base. 4 inches (10.2 cm) tall and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.

Condition: no chips cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor staining and some tiny areas of paint loss.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The cup shape is blown out and scalloped on the rim. The saucer is shaped the same way. The ground color is apple green enamel. Delicate gilded swags encircle both pieces. The handle, interior of the cup and well of the saucer are richly gilded. Condition: Excellent

The vases, English from circa 1850, sit on a rococo style attached base with light blue and gilt molded leaves for the base of a fluted and molded vase with a flaring and serrated top rim. The molded flowers are painted in bright enamels. The porcelain is bright white. Both have a sticky label on the underside for the Hackman Collection with the Number,”80” presumably an inventory number. They are 6 inches tall and 4 inches at the widest.
