This pair of porcelain oyster plates was produced in France by Bawo & Dotter Limoges, sometimes called Elite Limoges, around 1900. They measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter. They have space for 5 shells and have a central salt dip. They are factory decorated with a transfer design. A ring of delicate pink roses encircle the border. The gracefully scrolled rim is accented with brushed gold. They are perfect for use or display. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in France around 1810. There are no markings on either of the pieces. It could have been made by one of the numerous porcelain manufacturers in the Paris vicinity at that period. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 3 3/8 inches high, excluding the handle. The porcelain is heavy and substantial. The decoration is hand painted. This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Austria in the 1890s. They have a beehive marking painted over the glaze. They are 8 5/8 inches tall. The diameter at the widest point is 4 inches. The form of the vases has a classic, clean silhouette. But the tour de force is the jeweled decoration. Raised enamel beads or jewels imitating sapphires, opals, amethysts, and rainbow quartz accent and drape around each vase. There are garlands of tiny pink roses and tiny gilded rosettes...

A well decorated, monogrammed and marked hard paste porcelain plate. The outside border is decorated with a narrow peach ground and elaborate gilding with green dots and red lines. It includes a monogram dominated by the letter "R." The center of the plate is decorated with a hand painted rose under a hovering insect.

This porcelain dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 9 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is molded into three separate sections with a handle in the center. The decoration is a factory transfer of geraniums and foliage. They flow around the dish in an art nouveau style. There is lacy gold trim and heavy gilding around the rim and on the handle. Condition: Excellent

A floral decorated milk jug and floral decorated cover with a rose and leaves finial. The potting of the jug is fairly heavy at the bottom, the decoration of a fairly elaborate boquet and a simpler one on the other side is complimented by the yellow painted rims and decoration on the handle. Vincennes and Sevres had a monopoly on using gilt decoration so that other French factories had to use paint where they might have used gilding. Height approx. 5 ¾ inches...

They are 7 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches at the widest point. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The ground color is creamy beige. The vases are exquisitely hand painted. The front and back of each vase has bouquets of vibrant pink roses. Blossoms are budding and in full bloom. They are accented with blue feather-like plumes and vines...

This porcelain dish was produced in France in the late 19th century by William Guerin Limoges. The porcelain dish was sold white wear to a studio decorator. It is signed by the artist. The dish measures 11 inches long, 6 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain has molded decoration and a flower form handle. The painting is beautifully done. The roses have delicate shades of pink on a green ground that shades from light to darker green. Condition: Excellent

Lovely T&V Limoges cracker jar with flowers painted on both sides and gold trim. It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, and measures 8" tall x 6 1/2" diameter at widest part.

From our European Porcelain Collection, a fine French Niderviller neoclassical-style porcelain saucer, heavily potted, late 18th century circa 1774-1784. This saucer is executed en grisaille in very fine detail of a sleeping cupid, rendered against a very dark cobalt blue ground that almost appears black. The border is richly gilded, and the reverse contains markings that stand for Count Philibert de Custine, who owned the Niderviller factory during this time period.
